It's funny because the first time I was to Alchemist (old location) I was fully prepared to que, based on all the stories I had heard. I get there....2 people in line. It was a Thursday afternoon however. First time I was to their new location, there was a bit of a line, but it went quick, also when you get in the door and they shove a glass in your hand, helps as well. Last couple of times I have been to their new location...nothing, maybe 15-20 people in line at best. Same first time was to Hill Farmstead. It was before the new section on the right was built. It was being built, but everything was run out of the left side which is now their bottle buy area. You waited in line, someone brought you a card to fill out what you wanted, got to the head of the line, handed your card in, and then waited, and waited, and waited. Now with the new location, not so much. Maybe busier on a sunny weekend day, but never wait anymore for very long.

Bissell’s substance is one of my favorite beers. These guys definitely know what they are doing.

Queueing is really not that bad. You get to meet fellow beer lovers and in the end the product is always worth it.

I would love to see a Treehouse visit someday, I do love a old school west coast IPA once in a while but they are still the king for east coast style imo for their IPAs and Stouts.

I was just given a bottle of Seed from these guys a couple weeks ago. I was told it was a very limited release and I'm super excited to pop it. Haven't had too much from Bissell but I know they're amazing.

I try to make it to Bissell once or twice a year (I live in Northern California). My brother in law and I usually try to go to treehouse, hill farmstead, trillium (although not much anymore) Bissell, and the rest of the great breweries in NE. Bissell is a stand out regarding their customer service, and just the "ease" (for lack of a better word) of having a beer and also getting cans (they also don't charge an insane amount of money for their to-go beer). Staff has always been really friendly, and overall it's more of a relaxing experience as opposed to some of the other breweries that I mentioned where it feels more like a cattle call. They do a great job and I always look forward to going.

Not a huge fan of queueing, but sometimes it is necessary, some things are worth waiting for, especially beer. I've never experienced a queue that was dealt with really well. I have not been to Bissell Brothers yet but it's on the list.

The brewery I worked at in New Hampshire mooted the idea of mobile serving in the line. Like those tequila girls from the 90s. Beer in tanks in a back pack and faucets ready to go into little taster cups. Fucking genius but don't think it ever happened.
