Great video! Some little suggestions: 1… Save the hassle of having to clean out the filter more often on your other vacuum and pick up the majority of the dust with your hand (or dust pan), throw it in the trash (preferably with a lid on it), and then get the little bits with your other vacuum. 2… Put the screws inside a medicine vial and label it. 3… wear a dust mask when working on a vacuum if you aren’t doing so already 4… wear earmuffs like the landscapers wear, when using a Vacuum to preserve your hearing 5… re: the spring, you can get an assortment of little springs at Home Depot. I did that for a dirt devil dirt cup that was missing a spring on the dirt release button.

When I found my compact turbo in the dumpster, it looked almost looked brand new! The way I clean my shopvac filter I used the turbo brush and it works very well.

I recently trash picked a blue Bissell power force compact model 2112. It is missing both attachments, that white dirt bin dust channeling part shown in 3:05 (what’s the name of it?) and the height adjuster. I just oiled the brushroll bearings and cleaned it out. It’s ready to go otherwise. It’ll probably be a while before I trashpick another one with these missing parts. Otherwise, what is your advice on where to get cheap replacements?

I pretty much know all of this. This is exactly how I clean my vacuum (same vac) I was hoping to learn how to put that spring back under the wheel adjuster but seeing as though you didn't even know what it was, there's no way this video could help me but thanks anyway.

I found one of those by a dumpster and cleaned it out. After cleaning it out, I find that it’s in pretty good shape except for the brushroll and the belt. It turns out the brushroll seized (thus breaking the belt), because the previous owner allowed too much cat hair to get into it. I’m debating whether to scrap it at my local Goodwill or Offer it Up to somebody else who has one of these who wants it for parts. What do you say I should do?

My spring just fell out and now I don't know where it goes

Is the endpiece supposed to be centered on the roller? Mine isn't and the roller is hitting the housing making a very loud noise

I have the same vacuum and following your tutorial for cleaning I notice that the thingy on the bottom doesn’t sit properly cause you are missing a spring 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine doesn't sound that smooth. My vacuum sounds like I turned on an old leaf blower and it sounds like I'm trying to pick up rocks rather y'know just dust and other stuff that's on the carpet or rug. What can I do to fix it?

I never saw you reattach the part with the spring underneath which is the whole reason I watched the video.

12:26 that piece is supposed to have a little spring to hold that piece in place. Without that spring that piece will move around

the brush on mine broke, the end caps snapped off and no longer spin, i cant seem to find the right part to fix it.

Better question is a little thing in the bottom of it with a spring I can put that they own but I don't know which way the spring goes on the bottom of it and that's because unlike the bottom part of it the other the other thing there it's like a little bit little black thing it has like a little three little things on it and I don't want sprinkles inside that when I can't take this pain I took this rain came off and put it back on I don't care how to do it
