did you fix it? i have the same issue, a small metal clip only says "A" on it

if its a small shiny piece of metal., with a prong bent in on one side, it slides down in the belt well on a black plastic piece coming off the house of the vacuum. Serves as a kind of guard for the belt.

Same, mine too. Unsure where it goes. Been searching for an hour already through Google, manuals, and 'exploded views' and can't find it.

@Ahmed Salehin Hey, so after looking through the comments and my own for another few minutes, I figured it out. There's a vertical plastic outcropping coming from the basically outer edge of the plastic housing. It's perpendicular and part of the belt well housing, close to the steel post at the back end of the belt. If it's oriented properly, it should slide right on there. The belt can/will rub up against it, which is why it's there as otherwise the belt would eat the plastic pretty quickly. Hopefully that helps!

@@scottfromoahu2896 Bissel said, the part that came off is located near the belt of your machine when you remove the access plate of it. I concluded that Its a guide for the belt so the plastic doesn't wear it down. In other words, they should make all metal parts and products would hold up longer but that's not their tactic. To conserve on costs, they use plastic and products break down after the warranty in hopes you will buy a new one. My advice, buy a better brand. Some vacs have a 5 year warranty. thanks
