normie twice removed Now that you mention it... It's true, it does sounds better... Maybe it's just that modern sound is too "perfect" (big quotes on that since I'm sure it will be improved even more in the future) making it sounds dryer? 50's sound have a little echo and crackles like firewood. And usually firewood is a positive thing... Okay, this theory is goind nowhere. But that's a good riddle, is imperfect actually better?

Fun Fact: Years ago when I heard this song, I got hooked on crispy and peanut flavour M&M's for MONTHS! Probably the most I'd spent on them in that time than I have in the past 28 years combined. The fact M&M's have done nothing but make controversial decisions since the day they chose NOT to use this as their new commercial; clearly goes to show how the impact of a well produced song/video can influence and affect how we choose to support products beyond just personal taste, but rather the culture that surrounds it.

I go to pogo's music whenever I need something to smile. And it actually works! Whenever I listen to his music (this one especially) I always find my self smiling. This song that I'm listening to right now brings out all of my childhood wonder from when I used to watch these commercials as a kid and believed that the candy could talk. It never stays forever but I've learned to appreciate it in the moment.

Pogo's music always brings back the magic that might have been lost on me at times. Toyz Noize, Bloom, Alice, and Upular truly show the magic behind those stories, and this is no different. M&M's will always have that special place in my heart. (and in my mouth)
