@gadams257 I repeated each layer of harmony three of four times to give the illusion of multiple musicians playing the same part. I found that if I played each layer identically, it still sounded like one player, especially since it was being played on the same instrument. Putting a subtle variation on each iteration makes it sound slightly more orchestral.
@CodyToll12 жыл бұрын
I'm looping with a Boss RC-20, and I have my mic plugged into a Digitech RP200 guitar pedal to drop the octave for the bass line.

That little James Bond quote at 4:40 is a nice touch.
@thefalselemon5796 жыл бұрын
AManCalled Da-da You know the super super weird thing is that my dad had this song on the same cd as that exact James Bond song and would play that cd on long road trips and I’ve forever linked the two in my head, so when he did that I thought I was hallucinating for a second.
@skullmony29585 жыл бұрын
What's the James bond song called?

@@skullmony2958 you only live twice - Nancy Sinatra, though the riff deffinetly sounds better in mellenium

one of the most beautiful songs ever made...The violin is an untapped resource of musical perfection.. If only less people would want so badly to become rockstars, maybe more would
@hussienahmed20049 жыл бұрын
***** yeah true.. A bit off of a side point but you know what? I bet you can get laid plenty with the violin
@mrbibs3509 жыл бұрын
***** In the strictest sense I'm not sure I would label violin as a "valuable skill". Or any form of music for that matter
@hussienahmed20049 жыл бұрын
mrbibs350 actually I saw a video that would refute that

***** are you trolling, or do you just projecting personal problems? cause he's not that confident about his opinion..hence the "im not sure i would" he never labelled it as worthless either. He just isnt educated on its benefits and that doesnt make him a bad person

It's a Boss RC-20. I used a DigiTech RP200 guitar pedal for the spot where I dropped it an octave. I just bought the RC-30, which I would recommend. I find it to be more functional than the older model for the kinds of things I want to do.
