Spiders are odd creatures. You look at them from a far, they look disgusting. You look at them up close but not to close, they look cute. But if you look any closer you are horrified and disgusted.

The part when they mentioned that the spider would be a "scare spider" is inaccurate. If it were a scare spider, then the scare crow would be called the "scare straw and potato sack". Since it's called a "scare crow", aka, scaring away crows, then the "spider" would be called the "scare insects"

Its great that scientists are finding these new unexplored places but I think its best to leave them alone. Most human activity these days drives things off, especially wildlife.

The yellow balls are a type of fungi that lives inside the tree. The balls are flowers that come to the surface of the tree. Also, forgot to mention, that it's been found that the butterflies that grow from the caterpillars that eat the balls (fungi flowers), also have a spot on their wings that resembles one of the balls and it's serves as a camouflage when they return to the tree to rest and feed on the fungi.

There is a book that has been around since 1830 that gives a religious history of some of the people's who inhabited the America's, both in the northern and southern hemispheres that will answer, or at least give great insight to who built these amazing structures.

Years ago while visiting my grandparents in Brazil, I found a strange rock, it was shiny and strong. I thought keep it as a souvenir - weeks later I woke up and found out the stone brightening. My grandma came into the room and asked 'where did you find that? You weren't allowed to bring anything from the south ruins. Anyway, after the glow died down , my beautiful rock was taken back by my grandfather. So, yes. You never know what you might find.
