Value managers or investors have this unusual or special ability or acumen to see value where most of us don't. Piet is one of the few value managers we have in SADC. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.

IMO, Piet Viljoen is one of the most well read and clear tinkers in South Afrika. When his “aand and oggend stories” seem to be different it is always because I have not done my homework, e.g. in hindsight, when you are too early, you seemed wrong for as long as the market stay irrational, Piet’s Lewis story has all the potential to be another classic. Alec, these interviews at the BNC are classic, thanks for sharing.
