Testimony share. 2.5 months of no contact. I was hurting depressed. Got back in the gym constantly, started working on my mental, emotional, my body, back to church. I even started a mens group. 7 months no contact here and man I loved that girl. I loved her enough to leave her as a memory. I got her her first LLC, cameras, photography lighting, $500 for a dog, clothes etc. when I was only bringing in about 3000 a month 1300 went to rent alone. Then when I was really done I Bought her a bouquet of photos from our 6 year relationship for her birthday and never contacted her again. I still love her but just enough to never speak to her again. I graduate school next December to become an A&P tech, read my Bible everyday, and won’t be in another relationship for maybe another 2 years to fully heal

She's your ex girlfriend for a reason. If you go back to them, usually the same issue(s) that broke you up in the first place will resurface. "Going back" to them has a negative connotation and it's counterproductive to do so. Build a better version of you for someone who is going to value you. If they had valued you, they would not have left in the first place. I have always moved forward with my life and it's served me well. I learned that lesson over 30 years ago and it goes like this; " things end for reasons and if those reasons didn't exist then things wouldn't have ended". ALWAYS MOVE FORWARD AND KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

Finally setting boundaries was the reason for No Contact. I told him, I didn't like his behaviour and that I hope it will change because I actually liked spending time with him. He got dramaticly defensiv said I make a mosquito to an elephant, belitteling parenting him and it would be a one sided accusation. (Yes, just because I told him I felt treated respectless on the last meeting) I stood my ground so he was like: "Cause of your overstepping..." For telling him I felt treated very badly and set a boundary...? "...I wish you are not contacting me for the next time." (Background: he rejected me twice, but we stayed still friends until to then.) I deleted his number and chat with him. I told him I can't be taken for granted - especially with your past - and his last message showed very clear he did take me for granted. So I went and never came back. In 7 months he never tried to contact me. Speaks more than 1000 words he didn't care about me at all. I was just comfortable to have around and taken for granted.

my question is why coaches say when after the rebound don’t work they come to you it call place holder or you’re an option. When that happens he’s not going to respect you as he would respect the ones he thought he wanted. Meant to say you’re not his or her priority. They can never be happy with you. I’m soooooo confused. What does it mean if your ex calls you “babe” during a phone call conversation? So I was on the phone with my ex. I called her after her father told me she was hospitalized. When I called her, we started having normal conversations. I don't know how, but she called me “babe” and mentioned something like "but my stuff is still with you, babe." I’m really confused right now. I’m thinking maybe she wants me back. The crazy part is that she told me that she’s seeing someone, and it’s just a rebound. I'm wondering if I should be the first one to ask her to start over or let her ask me, but I think she won't ask me because she's scared.
