My ex cheated on me and was lying about it for 6 months until I had proof. He still tried to deny it, but couldn't any longer. I was so hurt and blindsided and wanted to know what exactly was going on, but he blocked me and moved in with her. I had a mental breakdown 😢 Finally after a few months he agreed to talk to me and give me closure. After he saw me again he ended up dumping his new gf and begged me to be with him again. He said he was sorry and he didn't want to hurt me and couldn't live without me.. as much as I loved him I told him no. I said remember all the months I was here alone crying, while you were in her bed.. that's when you made the decision to change our lives forever and you can't just come back from that. He kept trying for a few more weeks and I told him to leave me alone, go back to where he thought thr grass was greener and not to contact me anymore either. As far as I know he's still single and miserable and it's been 2 mo. I think my lesson was not all ppl love like I do and I can't give so much away while getting so little in return. His lesson was you had 100 chances and blew them all, now you've lost the only unconditional love you've ever had and probably will never find again.. that's his karma.

I chased a woman who cheated on me for years yes years. She was my so called soul mate. She broke up with me to deal with a guy who she just was “talking too” long story short . I got her back after the other guy treated her like trash 🗑️ but all the begging long text me fighting for love over years got me only 9 months her being back n boom we broke up again . That was 5 years ago. Moral of the story don’t chase focus on your goals. No matter how hard you try when someone isn’t ready to receive your love don’t force it .

My best advice is message them and if they're not interested ask them to block you. That way the ball is in their court qnd you wont be tempted to msg them. My ex wanted to be friends in dec when we split and ive been msgin her on a weekly basis till now (july) weve never met since dec and she hasnt once initiated a msg. I asked her to block me last week as its clear i am doing all the chatting. She blocked me without a goodbye. Wasted 6 months hoping things might get back on track.

Coach says it perfectly. My exfiance (three years dating and three engaged) could not make it to the alter. 58 years old and never married and he spooked. I was seven years younger that hime and divorced with two young adult college aged children. I broke up with him. He came back three years later (late 2021) to tell me he made the biggest mistake letting me go and wanted another chance to make it right. Nope, he made it worse after a year of trying to get him to move the relationship to the next level. I walked away. He just began dating another person over the past two weeks. He texted me during the past two months to tell me he is not dating anyone. Yesterday, he showed up at my house to tell me he loves me but he is dating someone who he believes has "great potential" even though he loves me, finds me brilliant and gorgeous. I doubt seriously he told her he approached his exfiance in this conversation nor does she know he tells some people he is not with a girlfriend while he flaunts her around others. This is NOT something I will accept nor will I ever give this guy another chance. I was the great potential. Coach is right -- thinking the grass is greener on the other side. He's almost 71 now. I know I deserve better and will settle. for nothing other than the guy who will never let me leave.
