I've been saying for years that, now that DC is finally bringing new heroes into the movies... and not just making dark and dower flicks like all those Batman and Superman movies from the past several decades... the movies are getting so much better to the point where they're actually starting to rival Marvel. Just like in the days of comics, each company (when on level ground together) will mean that they'll push each other to up their game, competing to make the better product... and the ones who win the most? The fans, especially those who enjoy both sides of the "conflict".

I'm going to say he'll start out as the pseudo-villain... the ones the heroes all come together to fight... but then a much bigger villain (the devil guy we see rise out of the water) will be the one that forces Adam and the heroes to join forces in order to defeat. Afterwards, Adam will give up his thirst for revenge and become an anti-hero in future movies.

I'm talking all the way back into the early 80s and how they've only ever really done Batman and Superman movies until very recently... and surprise surprise, the other heroes (and anti-heroes/villains) are far more interesting to watch.
