I read in an old article that the Black Christmas movie execs wanted to have the killer jump out and kill Jess in the final scene. Director Bob Clark said no and that he felt leaving the movie open-ended would be more impactful, with viewers pondering the fate of Jess. I think Clark was right.

Although this film came out first, the movie "When a Stranger Calls" is the movie that really started the whole "the call is coming from inside the house" trope. That does indeed feature a babysitter who goes to check on the kids to find them dead.

Peter has really distinctive bluish-gray eyes. The killer's eyes work strange LOL. I love Mrs Mac 💞🖤🌲🥃.. also ever since I was a kid / teenager, when I first seen this, I'm 56 now... There was a time when phone numbers began with letters that corresponded to the first 2-4 numbers. It made it easier to remember them. I saw the remake and have no memory of it. I don't think I made it all the way through it. I would stick to this one.

Is a retelling of the original story in an updated manner but the core story is the same. Core story as the original movie this is key information to know. Heres why there is only one remake to this movie that is Black Xmas / Black Christmas 2006 it's the only remake of. Black Christmas 1974 because it has the same core story as it does. So you may have to look it up under Black Xmas they have the same core story so it's the only remake. Because Black Xmas / Black Christmas 2006 does not come up when you look up Black Christmas. If you look up Black Christmas it only brings up Black Christmas 1974 an the false want to be remake black christmas 2019. Probably because they have the simple name black Christmas whare as Black Xmas. Has a two title name because it's Black Xmas/ Black Christmas 2006. Now in 2019 some people made a whole new movie that has never ever been seen in Hollywood before. Then Called It black christmas and a remake of Black Christmas 1974. They knowingly and willingly and purposely made a whole new movie that has never. Ever been seen in any other movie with a story that has never ever been told before. All it literally and figuratively has in common with Black Christmas 1974 is the name black Christmas that's it. The stories and core stories are completely different they are completely different movies. In black christmas 2019 non spoiler there is no Billy making phone calls. Its does not take place in one building. Basically take all of the story and core story elements of Black Christmas 1974. Then completely forget about them because none of it ever comes up in black christmas 2019. Seriously it just has the name that's it there is nothing nothing Story related in common. Calling black christmas 2019 a remake of Black Christmas 1974. Is like calling Hellraiser a remake of Halloween they are clearly two.
