I think you won't regret giving it another shot! It's a pretty fun anime and it's been my comfort anime since I binged it in 2020. I always just play reactions of it whenever I am in a bad mood and it boosts me up like nothing else

Whenever there's a new opening I watch it once. After that if I want to see it again I have KZfaq. That being said, black clover is the only show I go out of my way to find reactions for and regularly listen to on my own because I love every single one of these songs.

Might i also say that Black Clover along side Jujutsu Kaisen knows how to write strong powerful female characters. Also One Piece and Bleach but they get overshadowed much.

"that lady" is Mereoleona and she shows up from around episode 70-ish? And yeah, at first her impression might not be the best, but she's definitely a badass. I definitely found watching BC to be worthwhile, so feel free to watch it. And no, the art isn't as consistent or as clean in the actual anime as compared to the openings - it normally isn't even with some of the seasonal animes out there imo - but the consistency of it does improve as the show goes on, and it tends to be at its best in the big fights. Mostly though it's a funny anime with likeable characters and some cool action. It's not the visual stunner JJK is made out to be... but its got its own strengths. Also, the dub is solid too. Considering none of the scenes or the art style is in the actual episodes with opening 12 is cool how they just animated a whole fighting sequence for an opening that is based on something that does happen but isn't it... I mean pretty sure it happens multiple times in these openings but still. These openings probably took a lot of the effort and most of BC's budget.

I give a second chance to black clover more for opening 3 and 10 and I tell you no regrets !!👌🖤

My friend not only skips openings, he has never seen a single anime opening since he started watching online, and he skims through all the "boring" parts of any anime especially black clover. He somehow watches a 20 minute episode in 5 minutes. Also please react to the openings of fairy tail personally I think they're better black clover.
