genuinely one of the best songs i've ever heard

Read in an interview how Isaac saw a performance where there was no timing, they just let the notes die out with the breath. That's where he got the idea for the opening. What a lucky guy Isaac is to have a band to pull that stuff off.

Issacs singing is really good on this track. On the last record (also other releases) his voice can seem a lot more whinny, a bit out of it, you can really hear that maturity and strength. Which is crazy considering its only been like a year.

Black country new road are just casually releasing one of the best albums.

"Sunglasses" just blew my mind, it was for me the best song of the year 2020. And all the other songs were great too, the sound was new, exciting, deep. I bought your first album. And now you show up with this... what can I say, it's beautiful, it's new, and together with "Chaise Longue", by Wet Leg, is my favorite song of the year.. This song means the world to me, as I don't know if the lyrics were meant intentionally written to describe it, but to me it said heartbreak. With the singing and lyrics, the strings, and the guitar, I don't think I've found a sound with such profound sadness. It hurts, but it's beautiful, and it meant a lot during some tough time in my life, not to say it doesn't anymore. This band overall has my heart with it, and with the last album I will be looking forward to the next and onwards. Thank you.
