Why should blacks vote for the party that is allowing in masses of undocumented immigrants to underbid our American workforce -- while simultaneously causing more and more of our American brothers and sisters (especially blacks) to sleep on the streets of Democrat-controlled sanctuary cities? And why aren't we taught in our socialized public schools about who we were before the trans atlantic slave trade? What about Ancient Egypt and the Moors? Even Europe was named after a black Phoenician Princess. We aren't victims. Ans as a matter of fact, it was the Dems that were the party of slavery. And why are they always trying to divide & conquer the relationship between African Americans and the rest of America? The elites of the Democrat Party threw us/US over for non citizens, and the Hispanic vote. Being too stupid to realize that Hispanics are also hurt by undocumented workers, and the high crime that goes along with humans hiding in the shadows, and human trafficking. Also, why is it that most gun violence is mostly in African American neighborhoods with gun control laws? And why do the Democrats keep trying to disarm us/US? What would happen to the rest of America if guns were to be removed -- and when it's only the bad guys (or a deep state police state) that have them? What is the single mother living in rural America to do when 3 men are attempting to break into her home in the middle of the night? Wait 25 minutes for the nearest patrol car to arrive and "handle it" for her? I thought that the Dems were big on a woman's right to choose? And why are there no big supermarkets with organic products in black neighborhoods: Like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods? The Dems don't care about us/US! What if an attempted U.N. or Communist Chinese takeover were to suddenly occur because of a manufactured crisis -- aided by the DNC-controlled Corporate Media? @@davidhuett3579 They absolutely are Americans. I prefer the reference American. The left won't allow it though. Their general reference for non-whites is "people of color". The left divide people in identity groups and label each group as a "victim" or "aggressor". To justify the "aggressor" reference they further develop "theories" about the "aggressors". Critical Race Theory is one of the leading theories. They then play the "aggressors" off against the "victims", just like Hitler did blaming anything he could on the Jews. david johnson I don’t think I’ve personally noticed a difference between my white friends and black friends when it comes to ridiculous swings from trump can do no wrong, to trump is literally the devil, I think there’s a pretty equal amount of that on both sides, in my personal experience at least. I’ve seen people I know are Democrats and people I know are republicans that both do it and they make themselves look equally as stupid as one another in that moment. I’m an Australian, and our government is heavily tilted to the liberal side of the spectrum so when I say something trump has done that’s objectively good (like donating his salary every quarter) people here look at you like you’re an idiot, irregardless of whatever evidence you can bring up because the mainly liberal media makes sure to never include anything positive about trump, only negative things. I just wish instead of people giving into the instinctual urge to say you’re wrong and refuse to move from that stance, if someone says something you disagree with then you should sit down and work through your differences but things have become so polarised these days that it’s almost like if you don’t share politics with someone then you should just stay clear of them and don’t associate with them which just boggles my mind. Anyway, rant over :p

@Snake-ms7sj

But WHY is the school failing? Many kids go to school and act like it's just a place to hang out. Or the parents aren't involved with thier kids. The latter happened to me. My parents didn't care whether or not I went to school. They just didn't want to be bothered. I was bullied and started skipping school. Sometimes wouldn't show up to a class for weeks at a time. My parents never even discussed it with me, it was like "I don't care, just don't bother me". Eventually I dropped out and got a GED. Wasn't the schools fault. The material was there. The teachers were there. I just didn't have any support from my parents.

It's not anyone else's job or responsibility to "see about you" or pay for your healthcare or your tuition. You can't claim to be independent and then want the government to take care of you. Interesting, I’m curious if you are actually a Rev or if it is just a moniker. My religious background tells me that we should be looking out for each other. To love and care for one another. I loved and cared for my parents. Neither of them had healthcare to take care of them. My father had to go bankrupt because his 2nd wife had cancer for 9 years. My father was responsible for the medical bills for her and then for himself when he suffered a stroke while taking care of her. He was middle-class and she died at 49 yrs old. He passed a month and a half before his 65th bday. He had many health issues and the last time he went into the hospital he had a DNR. They gave him enough morphine to die in his sleep. My half brother was kind enough to settle the medical bills so I think the hospital probably wrote them off as children are not responsible for their parent’s debt. Thank God! My mother, on the other hand, did not remarry which meant that when she passed away I had to contact all of the companies she owed money to and send them her death certificate so they could write off the bills. She died a month before her 64th bday but, lucky for her, she was born on the 1st of the month. Do you know what that means? She was eligible for Medicare a month before her bday. Sad thing was, the day that her brother finally was able to get in touch with MD Anderson, after the weekend had passed, she passed. She had suffered thru the Public hospitals. You know, the ones that take those illegal people, or gun shot wounds, or other people without insurance. Have you ever been in a public hospital in a major city trying to get cancer treatment? It’s enough to make someone never want to go back. But she did. She kept a positive spirit up until the very end. Oh, and by the way, this was for her cancer treatment. Throughout the rest of her life she suffered from congestive heart failure that was not treated. Before the cancer, her heart shut down on her and she has taken by EMF to the hospital, after crawling several hours from one room to another to get her phone to call for help. They put a pacemaker/defibrillator in and the hospital considered her a charity case and forgave her debt. If I remember correctly, it was $50k. Neither of my parents, nor my step-mother were overweight, by the way. My father was a smoker and, funny enough, he outlived his 2 wives that were not. So, if you are still reading, my main point is we still pay. If someone cannot, we still pay. We pay in higher costs because these “businesses” are going to pass it on to the insurance companies or Medicare. We pay when someone files for bankruptcy. It’s still passed on to the consumers. Oh, and we also pay for the public hospitals where all those people go “to take care of themselves“. Also remember the people that are taking care of us when we go to restaurants, or clothing stores, or grocery stores? The majority of these people, do not have insurance. So why not circumvent the crazy debts, the lack taking care of the least of us, and the pointing of fingers at others? We are here to help each other otherwise it’s tearing us apart and keeping this country separated from the haves and the have nots which will eventually bring us all down.

Because folks in school know how to do actual research. How hard is it to even check the wikipedia pages of Joe vs. Bernie? Joe is the leading architect of our hideously racist criminal punishment system. He is a closeted racist and segregationist who has consistently lied about being involved in the civil rights movement. He was only picked as VP to calm the racial anxieties of white voters looking at the Obama ticket. Meanwhile Bernie was verifiably active in the civil rights movement as a student for the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). Under his chairmanship, the university chapter of CORE merged with the university chapter of the SNCC. In January 1962, he went to a rally at the University of Chicago administration building to protest university president George Wells Beadle's segregated campus housing policy. At the protest, Sanders said, "We feel it is an intolerable situation when Negro and white students of the university cannot live together in university-owned apartments". He and 32 other students then entered the building and camped outside the president's office.[30][31] After weeks of sit-ins, Beadle and the university formed a commission to investigate discrimination.[32] After further protests, the University of Chicago ended racial segregation in private university housing in the summer of 1963. These are the principles Bernie fought for throughout his career, including his support for Jessie Jackson as president. Older black folks are making a huge mistake propping up Biden and basically turning their backs on anyone who has ever been an actual ally and proponent for civil rights.

@Monsoon You seem incredibly biased, and arguably delusional (at least to a certain extent), in your perception and don't seem to take into account how a difference in culture plays into the situation at all. Also, blacks didn't "build this country". At the height of slavery there was still around ten times as many whites as blacks so suggesting that they did more to build this country, whether you're referring to the physical labor involved, services provided, or orchestrating the direction of this country through legislation and international relations, is an absolutely incredibly ridiculous argument to make. Blacks aren't putting in more work when there are ten times as many whites, and they're the ones calling the shots.

The guy on the right, in the White shirt represented my views. I wish he would have raised his hand when he asked if a woman could be elected President. Just like MLK Jr said.. Judge on the content of CHARACTER, not by their skin color. The same goes for not judging solely on gender, race, religious affiliation, creed, social status.. whatever. If there's a lady that fits the bill, why not. I'd vote for her. As a Republican, I really like Tulsi Gabbard in the Democrat primaries. Her policies are just as bad as all the others. But she has grit, and won't back down. She's gone on almost every Right leaning TV/Radio show, knowing that dang well they'll ask hard questions, and having very different views. But she does it. I also like she is pro-military, and supporting them. I would hate to see what happens if she were elected, but I would swallow it. Because she is trying her best, and not corrupt like the others.

If I was a candidate, the woman in the blue sweater would be my right hand person or I would be hers. Why would you keep your kid in a failing school and failing schools should be closed. It is really that simple. Also people should look at the criminal charges brought against the inmate and what they pled to...often times they pled to the possession charge, in exchange for not getting the distribution, or they take the distribution and the trafficking charges are dismissed. Rarely are people put in jail for just smoking weed, it's usually added to the charges which were the reason for the arrest. In Boston, MA, they don't arrest people for smoking pot, even before it was made legal as the paperwork wasn't worth it. But if you were pulled over for drunk driving...the pot charge us added in order to get a plea.

They're institutionalised whether they know it or not and more likely they don't due to some degree of ignorance." ... What is the height of absolute ignorance is, to attribute negative motives to the reasons different individuals are adherents of different philosophies - political, or otherwise. It is beyond ignorant to tar any group of people with the same brush. As ignorant, for example, as tarring all blacks, whites, men, women, Muslims or Catholics with the same brush. Or, condemning an entire religion because a minority commit heinous atrocities. ... Contrary to your false assertion, people are not sheep! Different individuals, no matter what colour, creed or gender, have different reasons for buying into the philosophies of different political parties/movements. ... We are talking about people going to jail simply for smoking a little marijuana but have no violent offenses. You must not know the history of marijuana in the US. Marijuana was not always illegal. People don't know that. It didn't become illegal until 1937 and that was because the government chose it as another way to criminalize black people. There is a little more to it..but that's the gist of it. Look it up. Politicians at the time even admitted there was nothing actually bad about weed. They criminalized it for a number of reasons including money. It's similar to what happened during prohibition. People were making too much money off the sales of weed and they couldn't tax it. I've heard it put this way before and I tend to believe it ... Pick 1000 people at random. Give each of them $1,000,000 free and clear to do with as they please. After 6 months, 999 will be just as broke or even deeper in debt than they were before they got the money. Maybe one will have paid off debt, invested a good chunk of it and then and only then treated themselves to something nice within reason. Throwing $$$ at problems rarely solves anything. Wealthy people are very good at keeping others from getting to their money. That's why it's laughable when I hear these candidates run on platforms of "making the rich pay their fair share" ... ummmm, ok ... what happens is the rich have the means to keep the wolves at bay such as teams of attorneys, accountants, friends in high places, etc., so what inevitably happens (every time) is after they realize they can't get their hands into the cookie jar, they turn to their attention to the middle class to finance their socialist Utopian fantasies. They look like a hero, the working man gets screwed and the rich are unscathed until it all unravels. At least in this present economy I have the chance to thrive, I shudder to think what could happen if some of these lunatics had their way.

That is a big problem. The Left/Democrats are always trying to divide Black vs. White. Or Hispanic vs. White. Never hear the Left make it Asian vs. White if you notice. Why? Because Asians don't see themselves as victims. Thier attitude seems to be: "yes my ancestors were discriminated against, but that is the past, what can I do NOW to succeed?" And most do. Better than many of us whites. So the Left/Democrats knows it can't make victims out of them and they are no use to the racist rhetoric of the Left/Democrats. The whole "white privilege" thing is utter nonsense. My parents divorced when I was 10. We were poor. My mother didn't even own a car. Had to take buses everywhere. Then when I was an adult, I was a working poor person for 9 years until I finally dug myself out of the hole. Being white never gave me any advantages. I had to struggle and work for everything I have. No one is saying that the past should be forgotten, but everything that is happening NOW can't be blamed on everything that happened in the past. Blacks fought for de-segregation for decades. Now the term African-American to me is a form of self-segregation. Why not just American? I'm Irish-German but I don't call myself a European American. I'm just an American. This constant US against THEM garbage being pushed by the left is just being used to divide everyone for political gain & power. According to the Democrats and Leftist media it's Whites vs. every other ethnicity apparently. And the ones pushing it the hardest are elitist Leftist whites ironically. I am black I leave in Texas and this person talking about Black citizens have to pay all these extra fees is not telling the truth. Why are lies necessary? We as Blacks in Texas have our ID'S.and we will be voting.

Not always allowed. Different states have different requirements for who can do it and who can't. Look at Texas, for example. There also differences in terms of registration and voter ID.

True people can vote from home with mail in ballots mostly. I think black voters problems are more from being misinformed rather than being surpressed.

What revisionist history she's talking about? All of the numbers across the board are currently negative for black Americans after 100 years of voting 95% for Democrats.

More African Americans voted in Georgia than ever before, how can there be voter suppression at the same time ?

First of all, your opening statement needs to be validated. I'm not certain it's true. Secondly. Stacey Abrams lost the governor's office because the current incumbent engaged in a slick game of voter suppression in his previous position.

If you think about it, more doesn't mean " All " the reality is there is voter suppression and probably every state how much depends on a lot of different variables that goes on Within those State's cities and counties. Think about it we still have race issues in this country. There was a. Of time where does issues posed more of a threat to minority than they do today however with that being said there are still some people that are surprised and there are various different ways of suppressing voters. And some of that has nothing to do with threatening anybody.

The candidates should take a lesson about basic decency from this panel. I grew up in the old days when parents could be encouraging when their 5yr olds said they want to grow up to be president. Too many of the nation's leaders have taken "lead by example" off their duty list. Idky "P.C." is the new & substitute word for good manners. Is it bc is easier to label it a bad or extreme thing? There once wasn't even the need for the term P.C. good manners just WAS. It wasn't a thing that ppl applauded as a rare & refreshing. It was the standard. But since that is the case- again, I thank this panel for behaving like civilized adults. Each & every one of you.

I was borne in 1945, experienced discrimination particularly in the fifties and sixties. When 20 voting polls are needed and only one or two are provided in areas where the democratic vote is known to be strong, this blatant voter supression.
