Mr Rogers never got mad. Famously. The only time he did was when Burger King tried to use his image to sell stuff. He really did hate that shit

Even when portraying Mr. Rogers as a murderer, they still treat him with the respect he deserves. This even stays true to how Mr. Rogers didn't want to advertise to kids.

I remember Way back in the day someone stole mr. Rodgers car while he was on set. They later returned the car and even cleaned it. They left a note saying "sorry Mr. Rodgers we didn't know it was yours"

I was kinda sad when he eventually lost to Black Dynamite in a duel of cardigan kungfu. Was hoping they'd team up and open a can of whumpass on all the corporate evildoers.

I like how this follows Mr. Rogers rules for parodies, which was basically just if you’re going to make an adult parody of him make sure it only comes on during night when children will be asleep

Calling the broken piano string a “magical gold wand that can make all of your problems go away” was ingenious foreshadowing.

Even when trying to parody Mr Rogers as a gun-toting psycho, they went that extra mile to still show him a mountain of respect in the process.

The only objection I have here is the line "protect the children from all the bad in the world".

I love how he’s still respected even when he’s a complete parody. Not even just that, he can still be sympathized with in this episode because he goes insane over the fact that his producers are trying to sell coke and overpriced merchandise to children.

Mr Rogers was legit. He practiced literally what he preached. No lie he literally was a minister. Mr Rogers would make you think for a minute as a kid. PBS was awesome in the 70's and early 80's for childrens educational televion. If you ever want to see someone single handedly slam dunk funding out of s US Senator, you should watch The Rogers work the room. The guy is a Jedi. And yeah, he was actually a very special man and will be dearly missed.
