If you are a fan of Blaxploitaion and have seen all of the movies, in particular Dolemite and Willie Dynamite, then you have no choice but to appreciate this movie. I took a Black Film Studies Course in College and my Professor covered all of the Blaxploitation films, which solidified my Fandom of the genre. I don't think this film just it's just due. So much of it calls for knowing the joke... For example, the real Captain Kangaroo is wearing the same shit he had on in his children's show... Not to mention you had to see Willie Dynamite to understand this scene to begin with. This damn movie had me crying laughing from beginning to the end! The poor editing is a homage to Dolemite.
