Thank you for the content, and for showing us that you don't need the most expensive things to do the simplest job, and for showing us easier ways to do the job more efficiently.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I’m building my first home after living in a high rise in Miami for the last 3 years and finally looking to build a tool collection, yet not break the bank. I think I am going to pick up these ratchets and torque wrench. Thanks again!
@autofanaticcars

def get these ratchets don't buy a Sears or Husky set all in one deal, best bet is to piece good stuff together individually because the all in one kits give you stuff youll never ever need.

Auto Fanatic this is true. I have the Craftsman 150 piece mechanic toolset and I use probably 30% of it and this is working on my cars.

Auto Fanatic yeah that's what I have been reading. Having a 2018 gt350 on order(can't wait), I will be having to torque wheels to 150ft/lb, as you know... is there any validity to the whole "not buying a torque wrench that is not +\- 2 % or so of the rated specs? I think that's the number if I remember correctly. It seems ridiculous... but I am not sure if I should get a 250 max or 150 max limit, as I would like to keep it as a 3/8 inch drive since I plan on having most my set be in that size

The CDI I use goes way past 150, never limit yourself on that spec so having more lets you use it more often. Grab a 1/2 to 3/8 Impact adaptor and you can do even more using your 3/8 sockets. I rarely use my 3/8 drive torque wrenches unless its for "inch pounds" for special applications and such. On the Shelby you need a real torque wrench, I tested the cheaper ones and found they were off by almost 15+ ftlbs on the lug nuts and i broke many of the cheaper ones on wheels, my 2012 CTSV required lots of lug nut torque and years back i said screw the cheap China stuff and i was lucky to find this CDI Torque Wrench on Amazon. I never wanted to spend $500 when the Snap On guy swings by, so this is the way to go on Amazon. I have torqued wheels and engine parts on hundreds of cars and it never failed. You must always remember when finished to unwind the wrench and place in the box and to never store it with the spring loaded.

Yeah when I got my first Craftsman kit when I was 11 wayyyy back i started to realize that as well, the smaller bitty sizes are for specialty things and most cars and industrial work rarely require so many. I later on bought Snap On and Craftsman Industrial sockets for almost everything I do.

I respectfully disagree with your wheel woolie take. I don't like them for the same reasons I don't like using microfiber wheel sticks...they tend to trap dirt in them and are fairly difficult to clean out

Thank you my friend. Don’t forget the PFM drying towel from Griot’s along with their microfiber mop and the Rubbermaid commercial bucket on wheels. Thanks again for sharing with us what you found that works as opposed to us having to spend a ton of money and time making mistakes. I can personally attest to your washing method as my car has never looked better.

Jrovann Lawrence i dont use air freshener they tend to cause funky smells over time. #1 rule dont eat or drink in your car and if you get takeout keep it in the trunk 🌭🍕🍕🌮🥓

I've been using Mother polishing can for my wheels and I was wondering if you know where I can get some small 1 inch polishing wheel to put on a cordless drill, for the slots in the wheels? It gets really hard on the finger after a while polishing.

Is the uberflex hose 1/4” or 3/8” for the pressure washer?

Auto Fanatic I just received my 1322 TS from obsessed garage and when using the 1/4 hose with the foam cannon it wouldn’t hardly flow any water to produce decent foam.... I was wondering if upgrading to the 3/8 hose would make a difference since that’s what Kranzle includes when you buy a full setup
@autofanaticcars
@autofanaticcars 6 жыл бұрын
been using the 1/4 for months sounds like you need to adjust your pressure valve my machine produced 1300 PSI all day long and 1600 PSI with my modified nozzle. also what foam cannon are you using? if its the MTM I think its your valve if its a cheap cannon I can not help

Auto Fanatic I’m using the PF22.... and normally I can lay out some nice thick foam with my gas pw, and I made sure that the top knob was turned clockwise all the way. I have the same gun/wand setup as well.... either way, thanks for the replies and maybe I need to take the mtm apart and clean the screen and check to make sure nothing is blocking the orifice
@autofanaticcars
@autofanaticcars 6 жыл бұрын
let me know, 2 years of using mine i never did any tear down and i used my MTM with 8 different pressure washers over the course of 2 years worked perfect every time. I did hear some units came with the wrong orifice jet inside as for mine it worked out of the box so i left it alone
