Scheels also has a deal for the bundle for the LSV34 it’s priced at $2799. That comes with a lithium battery as well.

Yes, good find. This bundle: at.fish/HOC9r It is a decent deal and a slightly cheaper option to get into the LVS34. However the trade-off of saving the $185 on that bundle vs the DIY build is having to stick with the Garmin shuttle, Garmin pole & mount, no open water transducer and the lithium battery that is included is a li-ion 16.5AH battery vs the 30Ah lifepo4 Amped battery (more than double the run-time on the Amped battery). Still a good call-out and I will add it as a cheaper option to the list, thanks! 👍👍

Thanks! Most of the time these bundle deals are only around the holidays. I am working on a DIY bundle builder tool as well that will help people get the best price year round and the specific pieces that they really want, but it is taking much longer to get up and running online than I expected. Hopefully in the next month or so it will be live

LVS32 is great and fits in a 6in hole, the LVS34 will not fit in a 6in hole.

@ryanglodowskirg3 hi Ryan. Yes, the LVS34 will fit in that size hole. The LVS34 is 6.4 inches (16.2 cm) long. So it would even fit in a 7 in hole.

Marine General said nothing about the black box (GLS-10) I would hope it is included.

This is the Livescope kit that it looks like they are using from Garmin: at.fish/7NMdf All the Garmin LiveScope kits come with the GLS-10 included as part of the "LiveScope System". If it says 'system' it means the black box is included, great question though as it wouldn't work at all if they didn't include that ☺

2 things the arclab shuttle is way better for the same price, and Dakota Lithium batteries have an 11 year warranty, amped batteries, have a 2 year warranty

The Summit Shuttle comes with the wires needed already in it! One of the reasons I like that shuttle

It's a good reminder and a good option if buying the LVS34 by itself and either already have the black box or will buy one separately. It's been out since August of 2022 and I think Garmin has done quite a bit to improve the cable durability of the normal LVS34 to preventing the type of breaking we previously saw, and the standard cable holds a bit more sturdy in the heat of summer. Good call out and should be considered as an option especially for those that primarily ice fish

Alex...is the Plus worth the $700 upgrade or would the 32 with better components (Li) be the way to go? Im primarily in 10-25 ft of water ice fishing.

That's a tough one to answer, if you don't already have one now, it is technically the best time to get the Livescope Plus, but at 70% more that's quite a bit. Don't get me wrong the Plus has much better detail, and distance is better, but I have both and still use both. I'd say if it's in your budget go the plus route, if it's a bit of a stretch stick with the 32, you'll still love it. A lifepo4 battery I would prioritize over the plus unit if you'd only be able to do one of them. You'll get more runtime and lighter weight. Hope that helps

All the ones I could find (here: at.fish/PcWZiK ), cost more than if you build your own like in this video, plus the benefit of building your own not only saving money, but you get the open water transducer and can customize certain things if you want and aren't stuck with the bundle (different screen, longer or shorter pole, bigger battery, etc.) Appreciate the call out though, made me take a second look!

Alex, if a friend and I both have live scopes. is there any interference using them in close proximity aiming opposing directions? Also is the battery that comes with the 34 Garmin kit enough to get in a full day if use.

Nope you shouldn't have any issues at all. Only time I sometimes see a bit of artifacts showing up on the screen is if the beams cross each other

The LVS34 is the newest livescope transducer out for this purpose, the LVS32 is still a fantastic way to get started with livescope (I have and use both). The UHD2 93sv is the newest screen in that model line, the UHD 93 is still great but a more budget friendly option as the previous model. Not sure what you are referring to as OLD Garmin stuff. What are you using?

If you need livescope to fish you are a very sad person, make sure you bring your electric shocker so once you find the fish you can catch them easier!

It's not that you need it to fish. It's a tool that will give you a different experience while fishing. Try it for yourself before you knock it or others who have it and use it to their advantage.

You have no idea. Some of us have kids. Some of us like to fish different and new water. This is a tool that helps both those situations. Being able to show your kids their bait in real time and for them to see fish interacting w their bait is a game changer.
