Black Friday brought us a new product in the IlluminEssence line, but it seems to be different from its bigger siblings.

It's Black Friday, and that means some new products are available. This year, Monster has made available a new SKU in its IlluminEssence product line - a single LED strip. We've reviewed all of the other products, and expected that this new SKU would work the same way. But, after thousands of views in a few hours and dozens of comments, it was clear that we were wrong. So, we braved the crowds and headed to Walmart to purchase the last unit in our local store so we could try it out.
Unfortunately, this new SKU was definitely produced separately from the standard SKUs. The packaging is slightly different, and the manual is completely different. But, does that mean that the product is different? We find out!

Great vid! Got 3 of those babies thanksgiving night, and they work Great. Thought one didn't work, but after putting in new batteries, it functioned fine. Love the color changing/speed and brightness features, and it looks incredible on the back of my onn 58" tv (also grabbed from Wal-Mart at $198.00. Thanks again!

How can you connect all strip lights to one remote?

how can u make it blink two different colors? like i want it to slowly blink from red to green. i had it workijg a little while ago but i’m not even sure how i did it

If that doesn't work, try changing the batteries. I had the same issue so this may help.

I had that problem,turns out it’s not the remote it’s the cable/sensor that doesn’t work,went to go buy the another one then decided to change it to see if it works and it does do yea.i hope that helps ,I’m terrible at explaining

-Shortasever - Ash Correct. The defect is in the control unit (behind the logo in the power cable). Adjustments to the remote will likely be futile.
