From Twisted, I'd figured Dylan was a nice person, so seeing him play someone who's grieving and a jerk was such whiplash. He did well, it was just a surprise.

If I had the chance to do a production of a Starkid musical I'd choose TGWDLM because the concept and the writing in that show are just unmatched, but Sherman Young and Linda Monroe look like such fun characters to play and would be my pick if I got to play any Starkid character.

I’m not sure how I *just* realized this, but at 23:24 Tom says their baby sitter Grace is out of town. Could that be a Grace Chastity reference? Who in their right mind would let nerdy pride like that babysit their kid? JÄGERMAN FOREVER, GO NIGHTHAWKS

The absence of P.E.I.P in NPMD really disappointed me. McNamara told Lex she was in P.E.I.P. Lex could have made appearance as an agent in some way. I would have loved it!

i guess as it was just a missing kid and then 2 (then 3) dead kids, it wasn’t a large enough thing for PEIP to get involved

i’m not sure PEIP would have even existed at the time of NPMD since it’s the origin story of the Lords in Black gaining access to Hatchetfield and the larger world

She wouldn't be in PEIP in NPMD, that's only in the Black Friday timeline that McNamara told her that. Lex in the NPMD timeline is probably either still plotting to get out of Hatchetfield or has already left.

@@ElBreaksLoose222 Origin story? The Lords in Black have had access to Hatchetfield since the Waylons started their cult, maybe even before. And while NPMD was meant to come out first I don't think there is a set order for which timeline happened first, they either just all happen simultaneously or there isn't an order to when the world in one timeline ends and the world in another timeline begins.

Here’s my question: Do you know if “Deck the Halls of Northville High School” was named after Northville High School in the Metro-Detroit region? I know a few of the Starkids grew up in the area.

I think Starkid needs to hire understudies (which they did in NPMD) and change their caterer cause the cast got sick for two musicals straight now.

46:12 tbh i still don't get why no one behind Becky had a problem with Linda cutting the line. Like, yeah the guy can take the bribe and let Linda in, now the guy gotta step OUT of the line OR make Linda pay everyone behind that guy as well. Idk i just find it weird no one else was demanding money from Linda😂

Probably everyone close enough to see Linda cut the line is close enough to the front of the line that they assumed they were still going to get a Wiggly since there was a stock of 850. The people who’d actually worry about if they could get one or not would be pretty far back in line. However I do think you’re right that Becky should’ve pressured the guy to either give up his spot, reject the money, or have Linda pay everyone. She’d get more support that way and it more precisely addresses the issue of Linda cutting.

For what it's worth, at the time of Black Friday the character who would become Peter Spankoffski (then only known as Hot Chocolate Boy) was played by Robert Manion. Interestingly, the Cineplex Teen was supposed to be HCB as well, but when Manion was cast as Ethan Greene that idea was impossible, so they created a new character. Ironically, the Cineplex Teen was supposed to be a major character in NPDM as well, but then when Manion got the boot and Joey Richter was recast as Peter, they had to make a new character to fill that role, which is how we got Richie Lipschitz. Funny old world, innit?
