Nah, Frieza's old personality is long gone it seems, he's been too incredibly humbled to have it remain. In ROF he trained physically, in Hell he trained mentally, both of which created 'True Golden Frieza'. Then, in the TOP, Frieza still retained his same attitude and it was quickly stomped out by Toppo and Jiren. Now, he's simply fascinated by stronger fighters rather than annoyed, as he was more excited than angry when Broly continued to stomp him, and he calls the back and forth between him and the Saiyans "the game". This isn't including Black Frieza, who shows up and eliminates those who meant him harm before flexing on his rivals and leaving them alive rather than kill them, as his Namek and even ROF self. Compare his beatdown from Jiren to the one from Broly, he's becoming more and more like a Saiyan and enjoying fighting the others rather than wanting them dead. I'm sure he'll fight to the death if Goku and Vegeta come to him with that attitude, but I don't believe he'll seek out their death himself.

Exactly while this form has crazy potential, if you really do the math it could fairly actually put him at angel level. He went from namek to Golden level in 4 months training. This is after 10 months training. However Beerus I feel has always been slept on and they think because of him being sarcastic, lying about his powers to motivate Goku they take it to literal. Statements never hold up in dragon ball. You gotta go by feats. In the manga Beerus literally 10 vs 1d the gods and and whipped their ass. Had the angels worried he was gonna go to far and kill them and all the gods are bare minimum even the weakest which is considered to be Belmod Jiren, UI Goku level. Let that sink in, a non fully serious Beerus fairly easily 10 vsd oned, well just average it out since their powers vary to 10 Full power Jiren,mui Goku's in the TOP arc. People also sleep on the fact that Beerus was basically this strong after sleeping for 1000 years and being unmotivated even before that enough to with ease defeat ssb Goku and Vegeta at the same time daily. Him just being awake is probably making him stronger and it's insinuated he's still training with WHIS this entire time and that Beerus is kinda similar to Goku, Vegeta etc not to as much an extreme but likes to train, fight unlike Frieza who just likes to destroy. So we know for undeniable fact Beerus was still after just waking up after 1000 years murking ssb Goku and Vegeta with ease daily and that by the top arc he was 10 vs 1ng 10 gods who low balling are all Jiren, UI Goku level and on the verge of killing them. I could see both out comes with this and to me that's interesting. I could logically see Frieza being at Angel level with this boost or even above so I could see him being able to defeat Beerus possibly but they may also not go that rate, multiplier with it and he be strong AF but not quite that crazy and Beerus I think at low ball is stronger than Mui and Ultra ego Vegeta by 2-3x still. Actual guess I'd say Beerus is slightly stronger than what an estimated Mui,ultra ego fusion would be. High ball ,For all we know we could still be absolutely knowhere near reaching full fledged angel levels yet (don't think that's the case tho) and Beerus could still only be behind, near angels and he be able to one shot threats of this level.

Even if they wanna believe that statement the fact he's now awake, moving around obviously motivated or at the least interested by these new warriors and hax flat out been shown and stated to be training with Whis still actively. It would make total sense his power by now is absurdly higher. Whichever reasoning people wanna use though, feats wise and even some reactions, statements wise show Beerus is much much stronger. At first people were saying blue would, should give Beerus problems (because of that 70% statement In the movie) but then we see Beerus murking blue Goku and Vegeta early In the series at the same time easily not even being serious (and as shown on that vs the gods thing I'm the manga Beerus definitely seems like one of those characters that once he gets legitimately serious (not oh I'm mad now I think I'll destroy a planet serious) but something actually offends him, pissed him off there is a big gap than when he's just flowing, not bring serious. In that fight before he gets pissed off he's still winning but Beerus is basically going 1 vs 1 with most of the gods fairly evenly. Then the second Quintela says whatever he said I don't remember to get all of the gods to basically agree out loud to jump Beerus, Beerus whole demeanor changes and he I forget his exact words but pretty much is like "oh really? Your all going to gang up on me and take me out? Alright bet" lmao and claps them all at the same time fairly easily and has the angels literally afraid he's gonna kill them all. Then on to when everyone started saying when he unlocked blue kaiokenx20 he for sure was on Beerus level now or stronger or at the very least nearing him. Beerus and Champa pretty much with zero hesitation get up and flat out are ready to and willing to fuck up hit and Goku and Beerus is a smart fighters, reads things well he's not a Goku. He wouldn't have zero hesitation got up been gonna go at him like that is it wasn't still going to be an extremely easy fight. Then Goku getting ultra instinct is the first reaction all series Beerus really gives and everyone went off about that but I never saw that as "fear" more a "holy shit that's impressive for a mortal" type deal. People we're convinced at this point both Jiren and Mui Goku were completely stronger than Beerus. Which again scaling made no sense but ok. Then we get into this manga arc and it's shown Beerus had an alternate technique all along that's basically the counter part-equal to ultra instinct with ultra ego. Which Vegeta showed is it's equal in power and knocked Goku out of Mui with one tap. Also upon seeing all these forms etc still has shown zero fear or concern. Black Frieza is the first non angel character or form I've personally seen where I'm like okay now logically I if that's the route they wanna go could see this being a problem for or even defeating Beerus but I also could see it not. Just depends how far they wanna take it. Personally I'd either go all in or all out. Either have it that black Frieza is basically the be all end all end game villian outside of the angels, grand priest end up evil or something which I doubt dragon ball writers have the ability for and he straight up is at or above angel level rn and could possibly get even stronger or have him be the first fight where we finally explicitly see Beerus fight at his current full power and defeat Frieza however high the difficulty be for him. I don't however wanna see Black Frieza like juuuuuuuuuuuust barely beat Beerus. Because that pretty much ends Beerus possibilitys, character arc as well as pretty much unless he immediately trains even more which it would make no sense why zeno, the angels would let him at that point shows friezas max is barely stronger than Beerus which means Whis, angels can take him out with fair ease. So it'll basically render both Beerus and black Frieza useless. So they either need to go full blown with it or just make it be a big finally showing his strength power fight for Beerus and that's it. He either needs to lose or to beat Beerus low-mid difficulty.

I know Goku is the main, but the story has effectively switched to be centered around Goku AND Vegeta. It's getting old seeing Vegeta on the come up, but has no success repeatedly.

Yeah, DBS sucks. It has more problems than I can count, and Beerus’ constant retcons and inconsistency with his power is chief among them. He’s probably one of the worst written characters I’ve ever seen. He had been surpassed as far back as the Universe 6 Tournament. At this point, I’m just gonna assume that Toriyama or Toyotaro is eventually gonna just say “Psych, Beerus was actually stronger than Whis, The Grand Priest, Zeno, and everything else in fiction because why not? Who cares? I sure don’t!”
