I've been married for 46 years. I'm ashamed to say, I didn't remember how my Husband purposed to me.😉 I had told it 3 different ways, so he could hear me. . He paid a young man to write and sing a song about it at our 46th wedding anniversary. Now I have it in a song.😍... When one of the children or grandchildren asks again. I'll bring out the Cd. How many people REALLY thought I had forgotten. Some things we NEVER forget 🤭🤫 We had just left his Mom's house. He began to have car trouble. When he got out car, he lifted the hood. Coming back to the driver side, he looked over at me strange. I climbed our the passenger side of the car, walking around to where he was. I found him bent on one knee. He took from his shirt pocket the ring. Then he held it to his heart. And said. "Would you accept this token of my heart for the rest of our lives. And close up the hole in my heart, by agreeing to become my Wife" Who could forget that? 🥰
