I used the word cheap while in Puerto Vallarta in front of a local… my heart sunk with guilt. The local said “cheap to you but very expensive to us”. I tell you, I was very contentious of my tone and selective of my words after that. And this was in talking with an artist who owned his own studio. Thank you for the video

Mexico City has hospitals that take Insurance from the USA and other countries where you either don't pay anything or a small percentage depending on your plan. And at least one in Mexico City is Mayo Clinic certified and happens to be the #1 hospital in the country. I had a life and death brain surgery in Mexico City and my insurance paid 100%. I had no out of pocket expenses and I was in the hospital 3 weeks! Some of the hospitals accept Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care and a bunch more.

Word of advice when in Mexico…never say how things are cheap in front of locals. It may be cheap to you but expensive to the locals as expats have gentrified certain towns and long time residents have to move out because expats have driven the prices UP and can no longer afford to live in a town they grew up in.

She introduced me to San Miguel de Allende on her video and I felt drawn to it. As a single person I wonder if I can navigate something like this alone so I live vicariously thru you all.

Im glad you folks found a second home in Sam miguel . Im more of a city guy and my wife snd I have opted for the city of guadalajara. We love the theater and all that comes with a diverse city.we will be 4 hrs from vallarta and only minutes from lakes and the forest . The airport is only 30 minutes away also.

LET EVERYONE TALK PLEASE. Earthquakes were the deal breakers for Acapulco, but over 60 years visiting that beautiful city. Queretaro includes a beautiful furnished apartment, that includes all utilities, wifi, maid and security,but she stil better be ALERT, and I speak Spanish as a second language, since age 14. The second President was of African ancestry. Vicente Guerrero. Cuahiniculapa, Gro is 99 % African/Mexico. A wonderful museum there..

This is not the first time that Mexico has welcomed African Americans. This goes back centuries. I am extremely happy that African Americans are finding peace and happiness in my favorite country. Mexicans appreciate our love of their country. Portugal has been terrible to black folks and doesn't deserve us, if you ask me. We shouldn't reward those who oppress us.

African Americans like Mexico and feel confortable there, really? I’m Mexican, and I lived in Oakland, California for 30 years. I never saw African Americans interested in other cultures and most of the time were uninterested, and rude.

Mexico got much of its modern culture from Black moors that introduced music, agriculture, cuisine, foods, and domestic animlas jnto Spain then the Spaniards brought it to Mexico. Horchata, Tamarindo, candied fruits, birria with goat meat, Spices, candied fruits, African dresses baile folklorico sre directly from Africa to name a few. Tiled architecture is from Africa as well. Cumbia and Corridos are from black latinos therefore so is regional mexican music. Non of this is from Aztecs or Native mexicans. The fillings for modern tacos is from African style cuisine not Aztecs.

Move to Mexico. Work online on retirement income. YOU still must be ALERT to deadly criminals in all occupations. Starting July 13, I will use my emergency pesos to pay rent for the next 5 months. My rent went from $673 per months to$874 per month for the same apartment, that I love. It does include all utilities, wifi, maid and security, and 100% beautifully furnished. My pensions comes on a USA debit card, and ATM fees are refunded. I always stock up on 6 months preps. I paid $1900 per month for everything when i left the deadly and expensive USA at 79 in 2021. I do not want a Mexican banl account for it would be hard for my American family to get my savings. Queretaro, but always be alert anywhere. Merida is too hot, and Acapulco had too many earthquakes. Keep your USA income, and just visit the different countries on vacation time. Never depend on donations. Help non beggars help themselves. Do not use any drugs. Trust only GOD. Keep written, audio, and video journals. Be married, even if you have separate homes, if you want sex and a baby after 35 for women, and 45 for me. You need your own space. Queretaro works for me, after over 60 years visiting and living part time, and WORKING in the USA, Live where you can afford, and you are happy with the climate, safety etc. Send all criminals from the supreme court on down to Ukraine and the Sudan, Karma never loses an address. YOU will reap what you have sown. I moved to Queretaro on 11-2-2021, and I am loving this city, and have lived in the same beautiful apartment, since day 1. At 79, I will stay here, until I die, and I will never take a test, pills, or injections, for I know my body. I am too old for visa runs, and I do have a highly recommended man, that will work for me. to get the temp retirement visa. The people here have been super kind and respectful, and I am the same towards them. I do not have to walk, for I have many new friends with cars. I wish the best for both of you, and so happy, that I worked from 7-70, and my pension supports me much better , than in the USA and it is safer, cleaner, and $850 less per month. Mexico has been my favorite place, since I visited in 1962 at age 20, and fell in love with Acapulco, but not the 6 earthquakes, that I have experienced there and one hurricane. I can live anyplace in the world, but since I am more familiar with my next door neighbor(Mexico), i am comfortable here. I am USA Muslim, and Africans are everywhere.
