A veteran-owned-and-operated coffee company in Salt Lake City is calling itself the premier brand for the conservative customer. The founder of Black Rifle Coffee says fueling freedom-loving Americans helped the company sell more than one million pounds of coffee last year. Michelle Miller reports.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife is big time. This is the only coffee she will drink, even carrying BRC when she leaves home to visit friends. She will brew her own coffee just so she can have her beloved BRC. Love the coffee and has the T-Shirt.

Auger3504 the concept of SJWs may have been created y those on the left, but cliched into stereotypes by blow hards who are conservative. Most REASONABLE SJWs can actually take criticism and have a sense of humor as long as it’s not defending/perpetuating things like racism, classism, bigotry, or denying someone their civil and human rights. As for those conservative pundits who visit college campuses and other public venues, if their messages contain those examples and their speeches aren’t going to be anything but contrived justification for them, then most decent folks aren’t going to tolerate it. That’s how and why such individuals get second thoughts about speaking or get their events canceled because decency should always prevail. Some will complain about their 1st Am. rights “being violated”. Well, the thing about that is freedom of speech is only there to protect citizens from retribution by the government. Nowhere does it say that NGOs or individual citizens can’t deny someone their voice. 99.9% of the time, that won’t happen if what an individual has to say is not at the cost of someone else’s rights or outright existence. Just a thought.

And it because everyone has differences... instead of examining it. We interpret it as we hear it... and to find out there is no difference... just fear. Fear of not understanding why some people believe it self protection. You walk into a place one day unarmed everyone is your friend. But, you walk in that same place the next day but this time your armed... and this no wants you there. What's wrong ? your this same person from the day before ... You've done nothing but put on gun. So, fear takes over because they can't or don't understand. We are no different than any other human being. So, why go where you're not wanted.

One: You need to look up the word "nobody" and then follow that up by reading more feminist commentary and critique of "masculinity." Then you might understand why speaking in absolute statements about what you think "nobody" ever said is foolish--to say the least. Two: I never called any of it "oppression." That's all you. I don't subscribe to internalized victim narratives or "institutional" bogeymen. Three: I don't "love" to see oppression nor do I imagine that someone's disagreement with me (or masculinity, or guns, or coffee) is tantamount to oppression. You sound like a drama queen. So, move along, Kyle. There might just be a bit too much nuance here for your reductionist stereotyping of me.

+M Ross Again. Nobody literally said that being a man is wrong. And yes, you do love to see oppression if you’re having to make up stories about it. I’m a man, I feel perfectly comfortable being a man, I am just as respectful towards women and their wishes as I am of any man, and in turn I am respected back. Nobody hates you just for simply being a man. They hate bad behavior that has been institutionalized into men in many cases and normalized. Understand the nuance yourself...

Been to their headquarters once a week for the last four months. They have a great product but their customer service and attention to detail is way more impressive. I've met Mat, Jared, half Matt( a stud) and Logan. Now to meet the elusive Evan!! The first time I went in I was in uniform, They were exceptional. First thought was: it was due to being in uniform. After the tenth time I've realized they're a group of dedicated professionals that want to enrich their community and give back. Love them or hate them, they are going to continue their mission. I will continue to support BRCC. It's ok if some of you don't. That's what makes this country so damn great. Oh and try their cold brew on nitro tap....OMG my wife and I are hooked. Freedom the F@$& on BRCC!

That is not to say that all veterans going there convert but a surprisingly large number do. I may be wrong. BR Coffee isn't bad, but Brown Coffee Co is 10x better, and locally owned. Seriously, speaking as someone who has drank coffee literally around the world (and who does _not_ work for Brown), there is no coffee roaster that even comes close to the quality of Brown Coffee Co in SATX.

Thank you CBS for this excellent coverage of my new favorite coffee company. I am a long time coffee snob and a veteran of the US Army. I have always sworn by Peet's Coffee and when I tried Black Rifle I was pleasantly surprised. If you know about Peet's Coffee then understand that this is perhaps the best compliment any coffee company can have. I have always considered Peet's Coffee to be the champagne of coffees and I find Black Rifle to be right up there with Peet's. Starbucks buys the beans that Peet's Coffee rejects. I would love to see Black Rifle coffee replace Starbucks in the VA.✌️🇺🇸 #BlackRifleCoffeeCompany 🇺🇸

90%+ of the coffee consumed in my household (which is a LOT) comes from either these guys; whom I've been ordering from for several years now, or Alpha Coffee company. Supporting veteran companies is good for everyone, especially when they make a quality product.

Mohammad Wali Tasleem is an amazing dude. You can find a couple of videos here on youtube that go over his life in Afghanistan and his early hardships immigrating to the US. He is truly inspirational. Black Rifle's coffee is pretty good too.

Love this coffee, so far have tried CAF. Have an order of freedom blend whole beans on the way and two bags of freedom fuel blend. Everytime i buy a bag i also give a bag to the local VA office in my community college i go to just as they send a bag to deployed troops. Gotta spread that love

I ordered 3 bags of coffee in November just to try it. It is THE BEST coffee in the world. I have ordered more, got on the scheduled delivery option and will never drink any other coffee but BRCC! Got mugs, thermos, and 4 ART15 T-shirts. I will support this great company anyway I can. Hope they open a store in N.C.! I know several guys with myself that would love to open a franchise here, and I know it would do great!.

Black rifle coffee is the best damn coffee on the planet, they are right they have NO competitors and their coffee is great!
