Well….Ive watched a few thousand Morris dances, and this stands out as the most intellectually challenging of them all. Makes a nice change. Well done lads.

@@jackwhitehead5233 Aye, I knew that, but I’m not differentiating. If they dance in front of an English Pub, they’re rustic dancers, Morris or not. It’s still more intricate than boring, staid Morris, unless you’re the heavy stomping Beltane side, but even they aren’t that intricate.

Nice video! Shows the whole dance. It's great when the videographer can stand closer to the band so the music comes thru.

Thank you, it is always hit and miss trying to get into a good position because as the dance sides change the position of musicians change and the direction of the dancers.

I only started going to Bromyard a couple of years ago to film the Morris dancing so I don't know about changes. If you are on Facebook this group might be just right for you. Bromyard & District Local History Society
