Philadelphia police reportedly harassed a group of kids for waiting at a bus stop and even ordered one Black teen into their car with no explanation.

In US news and current events today, Philadelphia police were caught on camera engagement in potential police harassment towards a group of Black teens waiting at a bus stop. Law enforcement reportedly found it suspicious that the youths were waiting together at a bus stop. Black Lives Matter organizations often work against this type of racial profiling by police. The students began filming police after officers detained one of the teens. 16-yearr-old Asia Wilkerson, who filmed, says the teen did nothing wrong. The Philadelphia Police Department has launched an internal investigation into the incident. Black Americans are arrested 2.5x more often than white Americans.

This video was clearly edited so until there is a video showing what the kid was doing from the begining and when the cops made contact with the kid you shouldn't assume anything. Until then none of you have a logical reason to label the cop a racist. Was the cop shouting "White pride"? Was he talking down on the kid for being Black? No. Stop with your nonsense because the word has lost all meaning when people like you fling it around for everything that offends you or that you would assume is racial.

The difference is when a cop does something heroic, the whole police force circles around to lift him up and praise him in front of the public. But when a cop does something criminal, the whole police force circles around to shield him from the public. Cops are never smart. Literally if the score above 110 on the IQ test they don't get hired: it's approved by law. ABC did a whole article on it back in 2000 when it happened.

@Jim Flatwood There may not have been any video to edit. I doubt any of those kids would have thought there was a reason to turn the camera on just because a police cruiser was passing by. Video likely didn't start till the cruiser stopped and the cops approached.

I asked the police department about this. The response I got was "We are aware of the incident, and an internal affairs investigation has already been initiated. No further information at this time." After eleven months? I doubt this investigation will ever be finalised.
