And seeing what Natasha was doing in between the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and "Avengers: Infinity War". Loved the introduction of Florence Pugh as Yelena. She and Scarlett Johansson has that great sisterly on-screen chemistry. Also love David Harbour as Alexei and Rachel Weisz as Melina. Fun Fact: The vest that Yelena gave Natasha at the end of the movie was the one that Natasha was wearing in "Avengers: Infinity War". Please don't forget about the Disney+ shows. Hey wassup guys I really believe people are only discouraging you because the favorite actors are gone and they sorta brought in too many actors, imo. Some things also get a little at times cringe but I just say get past it and don’t let it annoy you too much because the main plot is what counts This new phase of the MCU is really gonna get really intriguing but also at times confusing, just listen very closely and rewatch very closely. Try looking into what the Multiverse is about, it’s an actual theoretical concept in science. And this time watching I noticed that in the beginning, Yelena falls as a child and skins her knee. As she falls she falls in the superhero pose and starts to cry. The attention to detail is kinda cool.

This movie came out late because the guy who was previously in charge of giving the thumbs up for projects, didn't think kids would buy Black Widow toys.

You really should follow up with all the series, like Hawkeye, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wandavision, etc. They continue the movie endings and gap the bridges between the old and the new (or upcoming). Still more movies though! Doctor Strange, 2 Guardians of the Galaxy (1 movie, 1 special which was really good imo), Spider Man, etc. Love your reactions. Keep it up! :)

If you had read the comics you would already have your answer. But, I realize not everyone is a comic book nerd like me. Yelena Belova was part of the Black Widow comic as part of the Marvel Knights imprint. Which included stand alone stories set in the Marvel Comics universe. No doubt that part of that story arc impacted this movie. 😅 The masked person is Taskmaster an Avengers villain with photographic reflexes. Any physical move can be copied. So a villan that can shoot like Hawkeye, throw a shield like Captain America or fight like the Black Panther. 😮 Just like Steve Rogers isn't the only Super Soldier, Natasha isn't the only Black Widow...just the most high profile. 😮 The mask is called a photostatic veil along with a wig. 😅 Black Widow's wrist blasters are called her Widow's Bite. "I can't believe you caught me monologuing!" Syndrome - The Incredibles. 😂 That is the Contessa Valentina Allegro De La Fontaine. She will be making several more appearances. You're really in a phase of the MCU where you can't just go with the movies. The Disney+ shows are not _just_ fluff side-projects, but are very much core content and, with only a couple of exceptions so far, are really quite good. Also, you did miss Valentina's introduction into the MCU by skipping over the shows.

This movie was originally supposed to come out after Civil War, but there was some production issues that moved it back.

not every mcu film can be an avengers size film.. THAT would truly be exhausting... marvel had been promising scarlet her own solo film for years and never delivered then they killed her in infinity war. i read scarlet was like ...uhhmmmm.... after all ive done!...10 years w marvel!!! gimme my solo movie... they finally filmed at the end of 2019 and then pandemic happened ... i really liked this movie because i think it perfectly sets up fase four... the aftermath of 10 years of avengers smashing up the plac eand thanos... the next fase is gonna be messy sad and confusing and YES lacking the heroes yo two have come to know over the last few months,... for mcu fans who were there for every movie from the start... it spanned years ... and i certainly appreciate marvels attempt to reflect a wider variety from their actual comics and put out movies /tvshows... that could act more like comics in the way that not every comic run was an action packed page turner with your favorite heros(s) on every page... and phase four (especially for non comic readers ) was tough cause many feel they were forced introduced to watch /learn about new characters that weren't all a very specific kind of man just doing kick ass guy stuff all the time,,,....but because the mcu is all cannon many did it begrudgingly...i think forgetting that this vibe exist in comics. maybe they never read any of those particular titles , and just stuck to their favs .... ...but in the mcu everything counts so skipping stuff means u can miss out of the full picture... i think if u continue to watch mcu moving forward.... it may be worth while thinking of it like peering in a comic book... run... some issues are action .. some are strange and bonkers make no sense... so are really dark and sad... some are boring as hell...some are badly written but look great .... but thats the fun of comics... it all leads up to something at the end of the run... and the fun thing is to stick with iit ...trust the process even the course corrections ... except each issue /film in the run/phase as it is... after 10 years ... marvel wanted to use phase four to ween us us off of the hunt for infinity stones and thanos and wanted to some variety from all that omni present testosterone from phases 1-3 ... and make room for other types of heros and stories thats BEEN existingi n the comics.... knowing a lot of people want to see this and want marvel to try new things. also phase four is tricky because of the pandemic.. rescheduling film shooting order...and when they could film... navigating controls on how many actors / crew/ extras could be on set ...and theaters not opening for a long time...AND THEY HAD A very complicated multiverse saga, COMPLETELY DIF TO THE INFINTY SAGA brewing that they had to prime their non comic readers to understand ... before really going in on phase 5 and 6 (multiverse saga)... i say all this to say.... reading comics is in individual sport ... the mcu is a team sport. a universe w many kinds of people and stories existing all at the same time..every character is important... every showing they try to give their best even if they don't win em all...or the crowd aint ready.... (the peanut gallery internet can be rough .. and kinda problematic ... if u ask me....THEY START SHOWING THEIR TRUE FACES after phase 3...... but no one did... so goodbye

As some have already said, there are a lot of series that had been streamed on Disney+ that fit into the MCU. Although there's no Hawkeye movie, there is a Hawkeye series, among others. And since I'm mentioning series, the Netflix Marvel shows are part of the MCU as well, and some of the character show up later. In fact, watching some Daredevil before jumping into Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Echo, and the next Spider-Man film, wouldn't be a terrible idea. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher, along with The Defenders, are all worth a watch. Be forewarned, though, they're definitely R-rated.

Hey. So, I've watched a few of your vids. And, let me keep this as short as possible. I had a subscription to Disney+ and we were able to watch a whole lot of MCU content. I must have seen the MCU timeline a dozen times. I just really enjoy the movies there and if you spend a great deal of time watching MCU then one tends to be emotionally invested in the characters. So, even though this movie, Black Widow, may be "just ok" we still to some degree cannot say, "I don't like it" because, over time, we have become emotionally invested in the characters. So, I did like this movie, but not as much as I could have. Watching this I felt they kept us guessing with "plot twists." So, how's that for keeping it brief? Thanks for this guys! 😎

I have a sweet spot for Soviet themed action movies so this basically worked out for me. I'm not saying it was Atomic Blonde but it hit me in that spot. Also I liked the other actors more than Scarlett and I normally appreciate here characters mind you. Though I felt like they used her character more as a POV into the rest and this world so maybe that is a normal reaction.

Some may say the movies and shows after Avengers End Game was not as good as the Phase 1 movies but i swear all movies are needed, they are all connected, Its like if you missed one youll ask too may questions and end up watching that one you didn't care to watch, I been there 😅 so might as well watch everything is more helpful for these upcoming Marvel phases and thier movies, So please do watch everything but also again in order, I enjoy your reactions and im here with yall on yall Marvel journey 🥰

Hawkeye had a TV show on Disney+ that follows this movie. Wandavision was a Disney+ show that was BEFORE this movie. There is also a show called Falcon & The Winter Soldier. that I think was sandwiched between Wandavision and Hawkeye. IIRC there are 2 other Disney+ shows as well but they come later in viewing order. Ms. Marvel and Echo. There were also 2 "Specials" on Disney+ A Guardians Of The Galaxy's Christmas and Werewolf By Night. Part of the complaints that people have had after Endgame is the inclusion of TV shows. It became confusing to know what to watch, when and took too much effort for most people. As a lifelong comics fan I have enjoyed all the shows, though some more than others...but that is true of the comics as well....some titles I like more than others.

Too many reactors doing 2-3 episodes a video per week which takes too long to get through just one show. Also, I hope you guys don’t compare every movie/show to End Game or to an Avengers movie. Treat each project as their own entity with their own direction. There isn’t a new Avengers movie out yet but 2 Avengers movies are already confirmed.
