I just shaved my hair off due to seeing bald spots randomly. I am going to the DR’s next week to confirm but I pray my hair can come back 😢

This is amazing. I was recently diagnosed with Alopecia, specifically CCCA. This is vital information. If you notice changes in your hair, go to your dermatologist. Don’t delay.

I recently found out I have scarring alopecia and I inherited from my grandma on my father side. Nobody said anything about it so idk that my grandmother, my aunts on my dad side had it. I was furious when I found not because I started loosing a small patch of my hair at the crown but because nobody said anything. To think in think it's because I'm over stress, covid or because I had two babies back to back with in 8 months. If I was informed by family I feel I could have been prepared to hey this might happen to me

I’m black. Many years ago I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata after I started suddenly getting quarter sized bald patches. The medications did nothing. I actually got better advice from my relatives who had experienced this. One cousin is trapped in a cycle. With AA your hair can fall out, grow back and fall out again. That’s what hers does.

The hair on my head started thinning big time following a very stressful time I went through. So, I researched the internet & decided to test a hair oil called litttleextra coocoonion and a comb made of neem wood. It really definitely made a difference. At present, my hair is long, dense, dark hair that has grown down to my waist & trimmed three times after I started. Simple and effective. Also, just as effective can be massaging the scalp - it stimulates hair growth. You only need to do this once a week. Pretty soon, you will see short hairs growing in.

I began using the Littlllextra Cocoonion hair oil and shampoo in May, and following three months, I have noticed a significant improvement in my hair growth. Earlier, I experienced thin hair, but I now find my hair has become thicker and denser. I plan to continue using this oil.

I think the attitude towards short hair might depend on where you live. I have had short hair at times and nothing negative was said to me about the length. Some of my relatives prefer their hair short. Jada’s hair has been short most of her career. Anita Baker, Toni Braxton, Halle Berry are all seen as beautiful women when their hair was short.

It’s cause black women wear so many wigs pulling their hair line damaging those hair follicles it’s caused from damage from all the chemicals etc. every black woman that has loss of hair because of these reasons say it’s alopecia but in reality is just you damaged your hair follicles from what you did! There’s real suffers from alopecia that have it and don’t do anything do cause the damage etc and they go bald.

Those women that have damaged their hair follicles have traction alopecia. It’s still a form of alopecia.
