A big round of applause should also go to Judge Penny for unsealing all of these documents. She proved herself to be an exceptional judge, firstly for allowing it to be televised, for enduring Elaine and then showing all the behind the scenes nonsense.

Absolute GOAT move for Andrea to make the documents public for everyone. I find it laughable that anyone would push the “Depp is the one who has something to hide” after his efforts to get cameras in the courtroom. We’re paying attention, MSM, and we’re going to catch the contradictions.

Johnny left nothing untold so his life story could not be twisted against him. We knew about the alcohol and drug use but, we didn't know when and why it started. When hearing those tapes I felt the triggers he had as a child and he reacted the same as he did with his mother. I understand that. Amber knew his triggers and used them and kept pushing to get a negative reaction from him. She tried to push him to violence. He tried to escape her badgering and following him through the house, locking himselfin rooms. He even asked to be allowed to leave and she wanted to know how long. There is no time frame to put yourself back together to go back and deal with these people.

In all honest Johnny never had anything hide. He even gave his phone. While he did Amber never did she refused which it obviously shows she has stuff hide. Also if she's trying get Johnny evidence sealed while having her own not sealed while it's fake or made look as if it's abuse when not. So with how she's acting should show she's guilty party while Johnny is innocent but we live in world with idiots and entitled AH. Lol

Normally I'm not interested at all in celebrities, however watching YTube content on body language led to my watching AH's 2016 deposition as a case study in deception. So the 2022 defamation trial has confirmed to me the depths to which a person with a severe personality disorder will go to to destroy another individual, staging incriminating evidence, and insisting on their own distorted narrative as being truth and reality. I owe you both gratitude for carefully analyzing this case from a legal perspective, which has been so informative to someone with no background in law. Your channels are quite addictive now!

I got interested in this trial because I watched a video by The Behavior Arts guy, Spidey, detailing body language of a missing boy's step mother, which led me to his channel. Which then led me to his video of Johnny Depp's body language. I thought he was going to tear him apart (thinking this is just another story about those crazy Hollywood people). But boy did I get a surprise. And THAT led me to the trial. This trial sparked a need for us, the public, to see justice served. We have a thirst for the truth these days, as it is damn near impossible to find.

I think she - Amber - is serving a much larger purpose. This case is teaching many of us a heck of a lot, challenging a lot of us to think about things in a different way. Johnny's strength, and his courage to face her, made this happen. Some moments are crossroads in time, and this was one of them. I know it feels unfair for her not to be "put in her place", whatever that would mean. However, I don't know that anybody else could do as much damage to her as she has done to herself, thus far. This could change, of course. If she did this sort of thing to somebody else it would get worse. I'm actually genuinely concerned that because legacy media is still - bizarrely - on her side, she could get so dazzled by her own 'genius' that she'd try it again.

Thank you both so much. Breaking down two people's lives, is difficult. It doesn't matter who you are. But, in this case, made JDs POV, catastrophic, emotionally, psychologically, and physically. For an intensely private person, and the other that seems to have little to no boundaries has to be difficult. There's another jurisdiction quite interested in the unsealed documents. Maybe this may help other people, finding themselves in a similar situation. Think of the young law students around the world you are inspiring.

Borderline personalities HAVE bounderies. They can, atleast. If they do it is their own personal bounderies. They have no concept of OTHER people's bounderies. Which is just one reason why any kind of close relationship with someone with BPD or even traits sometimes (and close relationship is familial-ie parent-child, sibling, romantic, close friend, work, epmloyer-employee, anything close.) Is SO difficult and challenging.

Its lawyers that are responsible for this trial even taken place. Who do you think wrote the document the Washington Post published? It was ACLU lawyers, not Heard. Who gave the OK for it to be published, Jeff Bezos Washington Post legal counsel. Is that the sort of inspiration you mean? Just like it was constantly pointed out organised crime does not take place without lawyers and the reason these criminals get such backing is because the legal profession is corrupt to its core.

@Telcontar1962 2 жыл бұрын
@@kimwatts6338 Heaven help.us, another one. Not that reality has much bearing on how those like you think, but this trial had virtually nothing to do with with domestic violence. Just because lawyers, who have a very tenuous hold on the concept of justice (its why so many go into politics), chose it as their battleground to play to the jurors in the "credibility" takes does not change facts. All Depps cases have been political and the "win" was not whether he was abused but whether he defamed anyone or was defamed himself. It was all about truth and integrity. Not abuse. This whole thing got so much interest not because of abuse, but people were sick to death of the "lets believe all women all the time no questions asked" when everyone knows, including women, that when it comes to lying to manipulate a situation they are generally in a league of their own. This case was so extreme and had so little excuse for the woman involved that even a corrupt legal system couldn't find against him....though it still managed to award $2m against him. PS stop using the word "survivor". No one in a domestic abuse situation is on the Titanic. Largely its people's own choice to be in these situations. Even rich people with 15 homes abd friends aplenty still create prisons of their own making. They do not "survive" what is part of their make up. So stop dramatising a common thing that no one gets over or past because it's usually deeply ingrained as part of who they are. Of you really wanted to help society ditch these silly notions and accept people will always abuse and be abused but we should never ever believe a wan just because she says so and has huge political support to back her lies.

I think its important to note that Andrea didn't pay to have these documents unsealed. She didn't walk into the court with a bag of cash and ask for the docs to be unsealed. Judge Azcarate unsealed the docs post trial. No one else had the power to do that. Andrea paid the fee to get copies of the documents and made them available to everyone. Which was a boss move. I think the distinction is important as certain media outlets are reporting it as "paid to unseal" which not only sounds like bribery, but its also factually incorrect.

Most people have tuned MSM out over the past few years. Their bias, propaganda, agenda and whatever motivates them has been revealed slowly but surely. Their ratings are in the toilet ready to be flushed along with the swill they think the public will swallow. That's the reason we're on these channels seeking real news as best we can, obviously filtering out dross to find gems like these creators and Lame Stream Media has given us that desire.

@@nonacee5065 I agree completely. When Adam Waldman gave the shout out to TUG, The Real LauraB and Incredibly Average, I think there was a resounding cheer from all us "youtube" followers that proved a legitimacy in content creators that could only come from the likes of him. MSM is loosing the fight against real investigative journalism on youtube and other platforms. We need more transparency in news telling, where there should be true accountability for knowingly spreading falsity and untruths. True journalism exists. And it is here on youtube with content creators that are gaining more followers daily whilst legacy media are decaying. People can only be hoodwinked for so long. And I for one will find my facts in the places I trust. I have no terrestrial TV channels in my house. I can't receive it due to a disabled aerial many years ago. I have my streaming services and youtube. I don't look at or read newspapers since Rupert Murdock was caught phone tapping and going through waste bins of the rich and famous for sensationalist stories that bottom feeders like Dan Wootton would salivate over. I don't trust MSM. I don't think anyone really does any more. But there needs to be a switch, so we can all collectively turn them off. A MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO CONTENT CREATORS THAT CARE ABOUT THEIR INTEGRITY AND HOW THEY TELL THE TRUTH. YOU ARE ALL DOING THE WORLD A SERVICE WORTH WATCHING. CHEERS. 🍻

What came in to the trial and what was withheld. What time I’ve spent today, I think the newly unsealed documents will be AH’s final hooray. W I don’t think the “mainstream” media realizes just how important KZfaq was in covering the trial. We received coverage without an agenda or bias and explanations provided based in LEGAL context. Anyone who watched the trial this way, was able to make up their own minds about testimony based in legal observations. It was a spectacular 6-weeks and I for one enjoyed every legal maneuvering.

The UK trial was tainted because the judge had a son who was employed by the Sun. In America that would prevent him from presiding over the case. The fact that he was biased was made more evident when he retired soon after the UK trial ended and the Sun won over Johnny Depp. Judge A was extremely fair and she presided over the whole process with grace. For Elaine to keep bringing up the UK trial is really sour grapes. I say that if Elaine had done a better job she would still have lost because of a preponderance of facts and much more credible witnesses. She and her team were outmatched by Johnny’s team especially Mr Dennison, Mr Chew and Ms Vasquez Go Johnny Depp ❤️🙏❤️🙏

I agree with both of your closing thoughts. I haven't seen a JD film since maybe 1990, and I didn't think I'd be interested in this trial, but I started watching and it was unreal to see what the press was writing in contrast to what I actually heard in the trial. That was my biggest takeaway. I was shocked at the spin and misinformation in the news. I take most things they write with a grain of salt now.

I didn't have a good view on our justice system at all before this trial. My son was sent to prison when he was only 18 on a bogus charge. He had a rotten court appointed lawyer who was to lazy to take his case to trial and talked him into taking a plea agreement. My son spent 7 yrs in prison and went thru hell. I no longer have him with me bc he took his own life after only being home for 6 months. His outlook on life was gone. He was no longer the person he used to be. He couldn't find peace of mind no longer after what he had been thru.

What Black Belt Barrister says about the press mirrors what my boss told me when I first started working in the law field. First child welfare, then unemployment law, and now tax law…the stuff that makes it in the paper is usually only half-right. To report on the intricacies of law/government, you almost need to have a deep understanding of it. I think that is why you tubes such as these is so important. They have the expertise the mainstream reporters lack. If MSM feels threatened, they should get more experts to do the reporting.

@anita capilato some of the declined evidence kind of make sense if you remember that Team Depp was going for the "she's not injured" angle, where Heard's nudes (which are surprisingly accessible on Google) show her uneditted and uninjured - similar to the times they showed Heard's pics of her bruises I suppose the "Whitney admitting that Amber cut his finger off" part is self-explanatory And Heard's career as an exotic dancer might also have been used in the "she's not injured" and the "she was dating James Franco" angles, depending on the date of said evidence Honestly, I feel they just more miscalculated the media reaction EDIT: oh, and remember that those nudes would have been censored if they were indeed to be shown on TV

@anita capilato please do your own research and take what anyone says with a grain of salt. I waited until all the evidence was out and made up my own mind, he was abused by her. Abusers have a history of abuse and she is the only one that was charged with DV. There is nothing in the documents that prove he did anything to her that she has claimrd. Yes he said things that wrre hurtful and he took accountability of his words on the stand, he said he was ashamed of it. JD is human and so is she, but she is not a nice person.

@anita capilato That's not true. It's fake news probably spread by people on Amber's side. All the unsealed documents show is that the jury got it right, she made the whole thing up to defame and hurt Depp, while she in fact is the actual abuser. There's no great unfollowing of Johnny Depp by celebrities or his friends. It's completely made up and if you believe it you should probably learn to be more critical of the sources.

I agree with your perspectives: you both make JD v AH so simple, logical and understandable to grasp - 11 out of 10. I became interested in the trial as I seriously doubted JD to be a wife beater (Harvey Weinstein and Marilyn Manson would proffer different opinions). Why? JD's relationships with Ryder, Moss and Paradis never attracted retrospective challenges about JD nor bad words from these ladies. I looked in on the trial when AH took the stand. Several things seemed off: her answers, dress sense, demeanour, expert witnesses, contradictions (even Whitney's description of the staircase issue didn't tally). For me, my gut feeling about JD was right. I do not understand AH and what her motivation is (other than greed, self-entitlement and self-promotion). If Popcorn Planet's scoop on Amber making a XXX rated movie , as offered by a production company with female only staff and crew, then perhaps her time in the spotlight has arrived. Picking up the pieces for exploiting JD by having the very thing that she despised most of all, the exploitation of women thrust upon her (no pun intended). Poetic justice?

Thank you for clearing up why Jennifer Howell statements were not made available.... Amber also used Jennifer as a Character Reference via Art of Elysium in her Australian Investigation... She used the Charity to assert she was a spokesperson so must be an upright citizen...!. Much like she DONATED ALL 7 MILL AND WANTED NOTHING... Jennifer was closer to the situation than was given credit for... Side note, young Australian Lawyer LPB was onto this subject nearly 3 years ago and explained Anti Slapp laws, the different standards of Defamation in UK v USA..and why Depp would lose in the UK... Interestingly, the Sun employed the tactics they did because they were worried Depp would win... (so he should, if MM could lie to a judge and win her case against news groups, esp when Depp was presenting the truth....)... The Depp trial was a basket of issues, not withstanding he is a Teen of Hollywood who is a very successful actor, throughout years of career choices... Some see this all as HW bull, yet a MAN WAS ACCUSED OF A HEINOUS CRIME, a crime he never committed, so that puts HW on the backburner to see a high profile man who hid the fact that He IS The Victim of DOMESTIC ABUSE.. Awesome catchup with Andrea...thank you both..
