If I had to buy a phone to use in military or government, private security, healthcare, insurance or anywhere else that data security is key Blackberry is the WIN!! Not because of the hardware, but because they make the most secure hardware on the planet. Blackberry car software and internation space station software for a reason.

Not an expert. But since they switched from Blackberry OS to Android, they are essentially as secure (or vulnerable) as the rest.

I had that phone for a while, only complaint was that the screen needed to be a bit longer for my liking as I am just way too used to the Note line up. The swipe feature on the keys and the programmable buttons are nothing to sleep on. You can literally long press any button and it will open whwatever app you want. You learn how many apps start with the same letter pretty quickly if you use that method. Its one of those phones you may be better off buying used for a cheap price if you find one because they are super durable however, just bare in mind the aspect ratio if you read a lot of ebooks on your phone.

With Blackberry you don't only get hardware. They make the safest and most secure software on the planet. It's a Software Security Company, not a Phone Company.

Have you seen Huawei's new "Petal search"? So it's basically one of Huawei's new services since they lost google, it's an Appstore which make sure that everything you download from there is scanned completely before installation, Huawei is also very secure now

Sorry, I'm a decade long BB fan, but in this case you're wrong: 1. BB OS10 was bb's own OS and quite secure. But not invincible. BB HAS been hacked! 2. KeyOne and KeyTwo are Android phones and not invincible. 3. Both are NOT supported anymore, meaning they don't receive security updates, and the longer that is the case, the less secure. That is fact and for this reason alone they are not secure anymore.

@@avgonyma1 That is true and false at the same time. Since the pool of people owning this phone is always decreasing that literally makes it far more secure than a newer phone with up to date software. Sure the hacks and exploits maybe known for this particular version of Android, but it's pretty unlikely that any phone will ever get hacked by someone sophisticated and the end user could do anything about it. Really you can use any phone on any software ever as long as you can still use it and the older stuff is probably more secure because far less people would be even interested in trying to hack people with such devices. They would need to personally target you at which point nothing would really protect you anyway.

Guys I have a problem. Lately I am considering updating my current phone (xiaomi redmi note 6 pro) for some other xiaomi that has been released as the mi 10 or the mi 11. But a common problem that I always have is my complete decision when choosing a smartphone since I never stop looking at blackberry as a good option based on work, video writing, video editing, photos, messaging, etc. (work oriented) my question is whether it would be worth migrating to blackberry despite current market trends

Yes, the phone is good. A sturdy one having great battery. But buttons go bad after some time. I am using this since it was launched in India.
