I think Jesse and Jeana are dead. At the end when the girl asked "Do they still do tours at night?" and the Tour Guide replied "No, unfortunately we had to cancel those a few MONTHS back... people were getting lost in the dark." Notice how he said months? They could not have survived in there for months without food/water. Think about it...

I thought maybe they died at first then i realized theyd be able to disappear or something. Then i thought about the game Corspe Party or how ever you spell it and how the story went. Maybe they were trapped in a different time of space.

in Brazil there was a famous prison called Carandiru which after some years working the governor decided to shut down. And then reopen to visitors as tour in order to ppl meets the facilities. It didn’t work out for so long. It was closed again but before it I was there to know with my own eyes all the horror stories I’ve heard while my childhood. It is a place where no one should go, I had different feelings while in tour, some ppl felt dizzy, others headache, vomit and so forth. I believe all the suffering within the prison was making us bad. The tour lasted normally 01 hour or so but due several incidents they determined to finish earlier..., in a short, a kind of location, believe me, impossible to forget

Amazing. The Eastern State Penitentiary was a real solitary confinement prison. The SAME thing happened to real prisoners, though some would be released, psychological damage would stay with them forever, the feeling of isolation and loneliness would haunt them even though they came back into society and lived their lives. The message in this episode shows us that the damage done to the soul last for eternity. The are dead, but they never died and left ,the souls can never escape loneliness.
