Mmm, peened pommel also means that if the blade breaks, changing it is more of an issue. That's the main reason other rapiers have a screw-on pommel. Good review.

I'm also a major Dan of more legnth appropriate hilts and pommels. Helps so much with the balance point and wrist motions.

i really want this sword! ive got one of their longswords but i had to cover the grip with leather because the cord was just to abbrasive

Peened pommels are love, peened pommels are life. It is well that its not of the ugly screwed kind. ^^

The peened pommel presents a challenge for taking it apart to clean it. I'm interested to see how it holds up over time.

Hi, I know that the point of balance of this sword is around 10/11 cm. From the guard, is the sword handy? Isn’t It leaning forward? Thanks.
