They ARE NOT in RRHOF because Mick Jones fell out years ago with the people that were involved with the RRHOF. They told him "It'll be a cold day in hell before Foreigner gets in" Lou was already long out of Foreigner, so he had nothing to do with this incident. But he talked about the fall out in his book. Lou said he didn't lose sleep worrying about it.

Lou WAS replaced. More than once. Kelly Hansen is the best one though. It's too bad that Lou and Mick ended up not being able to work together. However, Mick is great at recognizing talent and has talented and experienced people in the current incarnation of Foreigner. This, BTW, takes nothing away from Lou by acknowledging this.

Kelly Hansen is a good vocalist also.🎙🤘🏼
@waltersimmons9462 жыл бұрын
@@geerterri I still like and listen to Johnny Edwards(1991 Unusual Heat) Lous first replacement. He not only sounded more like Lou than Kelly. Edwards was also chosen over Kelly Hansen and Mark Free of King Kobra to replace Gramm in 1990 after he officially left Foreigner to go solo but ended up forming SHADOW KING .
@michaelbuckley85422 жыл бұрын
People need to understand Lou lost his voice!! Couldnt do these songs anymorecthats why Kelly is doing it move on & get over it & tk be honest does a better job!!
@waltersimmons9462 жыл бұрын
@@michaelbuckley8542 Lou had a brain tumor , had surgery (in 1997)and had to take a lot of medications (12 different things in fact) afterwards for years, the doctor's had finally cut back on things he was taking and yes, he will not be like he was before the tumor anymore. The tumor was a birth defect a genetic issue. But the Gramm and Hansen debate is really lame and silly , a waste of time. Fact is (and you may not like this) but all Foreigners hits and their big selling albums along with sold out tours , all that took place during the Lou Gramm era of Foreigner not Hansen . Hansen is definitely a good singer but he has no hits of his own in Foreigner, no best selling album with his stamp on the band . He lives off touring and he lives off 🎵 songs actually written by Jones and Jones /Gramm songwriting team. I'm not against Hansen doing well with his own songs in Foreigner but he's been in the band 17 years. Michael where's the beef ? Hansen hasn't given anything for nobody to , uh, move on to. Plus Hansen said they were not making anymore albums, they would be recording about 3 new songs and just download them for fans or I say whatever fans they have left. I hope Mick Jones never treats Hansen as terrible and crappy as he did Gramm and Edwards, Jones is a greedy man.
