Shannette my story is similiar to yours but way worse. At least yours didn't lie on you to the church & about why he HAD to leave. This is his childhood family church. He had secretly planned his departure for 3 years. Long long story. So far he's prospering & said God is blessing him. I don't understand this. I have never cheated on him & he constantly secretly cheated on me while we were together & he is a deacon in the church & superintendent of Sunday School. SO SO SO much more to tell. All I know is I am struggling financially. cheated

We all have a testimony to tell. If I was to tell my life I could write a book. My life was rough, hard, and challenging but God got me through. If I could get through it so can you. I am happy for all that I have been through because the stuggles and challenges in my life made me become the woman i am today. With my health & the bills (when it use to be 2 checks & now not one working check) I can't help but be bitter! Its been one thing after another. He's having parties every weekend in his newly purchased house. I barely can make my mortgage. I will be 68 next month, So yes, I am still bitter. If u are familiar with what the scripture says about satan pretending to be an angel of light? Well thats what He does (along with being a Sociopath) Still praying & waiting on God😢

Its better that he left you than you have the burden to make that decision. Jesus made it easier for you. You will be better off without him. In a few weeks or months Jesus will turn your life around. He is the Way so He provides a way. He did it for me when I left my ex in 2005.

Me to :( my parents are very controlling and toxic and make me cry all the time and they say I never listen to them how do I get away from them because if I do they will tell everyone how I am a bad daughter she would always tell me if I only had a different daughter and that I can't do anything when I was little what should I do because I really want to get away from them and just finally have a little peace in my life and I don't have anyone in life that understands this except for god

Im going through the process as well. We'll all be okay. God will see to it. My ex an I both Christian...he a young minister. I went to his apartment unexpectedly and he was angry when I got there. Didnt want me in. I pushed though only to find a girl who began working at his job...not to mention God warned him about...anway, he broke up with me then and there, that was a few weeks ago.. Fast forward last Sunday I go to his church because my daughter attends there only to see that the ssme girl I caught him with is there, and he is in the pulpit preaching...smh...no he's mad at me because I ask for the full balance for tures I purchased for him while we were together. Im hurt, but this too shall pass. I said all thus to say...you are not alone. God bless everyone that reads this and my prayer is that you'll never feel this pain again.

Amen it took me 8 years to finally say goodbye to an ex that was halting my growth. It broke my heart cuz I really tried to save him. But then I finally realized God put it in my heart to release him and who was I to even think I can save anyone but myself from a toxic relationship? Praise God I'm alone. But I was healing and I realized while I was doing this it was only hurting myself. I was obsessed with getting him back at one point. God kept saying no. I knew I was only hurting myself by reliving the good times in my head with him when I was lonely. The devil is a liar. Now I'm at a place where I am truly content with me. If God sends me someone then that will be in his timing not mine. Do you know what I learned just last year? That when you try to force anything that is not of God it is considered witchcraft. Deep. @@I.can_feel_it.in.the_air it's a process. You can do it. God will bring you someone who will truly value you and respect you. I dealt with alot of drama with him. But looking back in hindsight it was always something new with my ex. He was never happy no matter what. It ended up draining me and I lost my identity. He was my God. So glad I gave healed over it. I will always love him but I can't save anyone but myself.
