7. ... Be6 seems like the obvious way to defend against the trap. Though most people over 1500 will move their pawn to e6 early on.

I play this opening a lot looking for the Halosar trap using the queen to capture pawn on f3 instead of the knight. This trap looks better. Is there a name for it? Also, do you have more attacking lines to show in this opening? Cool video. Thanks.

love your trap videos. this is similar to legal's trap. it wont work if black knight moves B8 to C6. white knight gets captured and also protect black bishop so white queen can't take black bishop.
