I heard some fools on KZfaq saying Ritchie has lost some of his skills over the years, I sure don't see it. I'm still in awe of him!!!

The thing that Ritchie improvises at 8:10 is just pure genius. Most amazing acoustic guitar playing I've ever heard.

I will forever remember listening to this song in my headphones at Midnight on a night that had a HUGE red Harvest Moon that was actually a Eclipse of the Century. I lay on the ground with blankets and watched a unbelievable meteor shower with falling stars constantly. The planets were literally in line, and the cosmo's were jumping and I listened to this as they fell...unreal memories and experience. I lay there for hours that night out in our 5 country acers. Thank you guys..magical memories

This is the first time I heard this particular live version, and immediately decided it was 'Favorite worthy'. Starts off as one of their typical Medieval-Renaissance-ish faires, but then when the two women back up singers start with that haunting chorus around 4:38 giving it a very rich sound, which at 5:00 seques into Richie's 6 minute weaving and wandering acoustic journey, at 10:56 the chorus resumes along with the full band joining in for the culmination. Excellant construction and delivery

I saw Deep Purple at the Fest House in Frankfurt in 73 or 74. Freaking awesome. Deep Purple "In Rock" is huge. He shreds in Highway Star, one of my all-time fav songs. This music is beautiful, as is his wife.
