The “Outfits”….. I dig them because they’re a stark departure from their normal fierceness. But I understand your feelings towards them. Tbt, I have all of BPs songs on my iPhone, except Stay (which is still a good song just not playlist-worthy) and Playing With Fire. PWF is….. I think this song is supposed to be a departure from their normal fierceness to show their range and versatility. Lovesick Girls and You Never Know are also in that same vein. PWF just never hit home with me.

No need to be sorry. Tastes differ and you like what you like. It's obviously not just you, as this has fewer views than many of their other M/V's. That said, sometimes a first watch doesn't do it, and a song needs a few. That's how Stay was for me. I'm just glad to see you back on Blackpink. I love your reactions, but I only watch them after I have seen the original video, and you react to a lot of groups I'm not up on yet. Not a complaint, it gives me ideas of other groups to see in the future then come back for the reactions I missed. Be well.

Glad you finally got to this one, even though a bit disappointed you didn't like it as much as I do. I will point out that this was their 2nd 2-song release (along with Stay), and if looked at that way it's pretty obvious these were "experimental" songs. Nothing else in their discography, with the possible exception of Whistle, has such a unique sound. All of Blackpink's songs tend to surprise you with where the instrumental sounds go, but after the first 4 songs (Boombayah/Whistle, Playing with Fire/Stay) they started focusing more on just one type of song... Boombayah. I'm a Blink, and I love their music, but I wish they would try to play with the music a bit more. Just as an example, look at BTS' discography (I'm also Army). With the exception of their earliest songs, and their recent English releases, it's almost impossible to define "the sound" of BTS. But the fact that you didn't like this one as much as I do would NEVER cause me to hate on you, even if you do focus a bit more on "the outfits" than I ever will! :D

You don't need to apologise for honest thoughts and opinions, it's what you're supposed to do 👍😎. Their different videos will appeal to different people in different ways - sometimes it won't work for you, sometimes it'll be amazing. Personally, this one didn't hit my when i first saw it four(?) years ago, and it still doesn't click like the others do, but it has some good parts to it. Part of it seems to be the outfits, as you say, some of it may be the movements, some the set - not sure but I do know there are others who raved about this video - so, ultimately, still cool.

You need to check out the dance practice for this song. I love this song. Clothes - were alright- lots of black - not so much pink. I liked the choreography for this video.

Well, fashion is diverse and personalised. Some people like skinny jeans, some ppl like baggy pants. Similarly to music, some ppl commented this song never make it into their playlist, personally this is one of the highest ranking songs in blackpink songs list. In fact, HYLT till now still.... don't make me feel the same way as I do for PWF. So what I'm trying to say is, maybe you paid too much attention to outfits because obviously thats your interest but probably don't try too hard to link outfit with music. Music is meant to entertain. If it were meant to serve as a mystery, maybe reading an Agatha Christie book would serve the purpose.

I don't know much about fashion, myself. From my perspective, the ladies always look stunning and they always sound great. Maybe the song choice was a little strange but yes, this was still early on. I also wonder what happened, how this is SO different from everything else they did previously.
