Nah I wouldn't call it Unimpressed for sure. She has this kind of Poker Face which is Calm At the same time. I love how she was Analysing Everything and then Giving her Opinions.

True, she seems way more comfortable than during her debut days. But still needs to improve in letting loose tension while dancing. Without any doubt it’s hard to feel natural while dancing, if you’ve never had the experience beforehand.

@@makeitright3810 that's true, but Jisoo did have a little bit of dancing experience, Rose is the one that had no dancing experience, and look, she's the lead dancer. Dancing is just not Jisoo strenght and that's okay, nothing wrong with that, she should be more focused on her SP.

I have to admit i cant watch jisoo dance coz i dont wanna ruin blackpinks capabilities in my head she was better during debut days maybe because they were training all day but now she became really bad she has a stiff body language its hard to watch knowing blackpink has a talented and flawless image i cant even watch her solo stuffs way too stiff when shes dancing im sorry but shes ruining blackpink image unintentionally. Its actually sad but she has really great voice and personality

@@lmc2940 it just depends on each person. Her dancing experience was still not developed pre debut in a way where it gave her an advantage in dancing. Stage presence and charisma on stage mainly comes from knowing what you’re doing with your body while dancing. So it’s a combination of different things that she has to work on.

@@hannahfrent6339 I actually think her dancing now is way better compared to pre debut/debut. You should watch her solo stage for Liar on their born pink tour I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Also I don’t think she’s ruining their image at all, bp were never known as a dance group or even a vocal group so it’s not that serious in my opinion.

You are right :( and I blame Korea too not only Jisoo, because they care more about a pretty face and "visuals" than actual stage presence and dancing. Jisoo is really talented and more that a visual (hate that term), but it is what it is.

But yeah, Jennie is usually the one to get the most budget, acuatlly Shut Down have been the most expensive MV just because of the tank and Jennie's clothing.

Shutdown yea, Jisoo definently had the cheapest set. But to your point 100% early on they favored Jennie immensely, just look back at early Rose.

Jisoo's issue with dancing is the same issue for some people with Chinese for example or maths, it's something that no matter how much you want to improve by working hard, it just won't get better, for example lady gaga, she's been dancing for more than a decade yet her dancing is still not that good just like jisoo but i don't complain because i love that they're trying

YG has always been a frustrating company. Seems to reflect the personality of Yang Hyun Suk who is really good at some important things and really bad at other very important things. He's really good at spotting unique talent. But he's also often kind of immature and childishly greedy. Although YG did a lot of things right in selecting and training the members and putting Blackpink together, and launched them very well, he also did what he usually does with female groups, namely treating them like second-class, lower priority artists compared to the boy groups. It's only because he got really lucky and BP's broad appeal to a global audience exceeded anything that YG ever expected that BP finally started getting the attention and priority they deserved after YG just put them mostly on hold for their first two years so that he could focus more on the boy groups and his own dumb reality show projects (such as Mix9, where he starred as the savior of idols in OTHER companies). The recent news about YG jacking up the BP concert prices for the encore concerts in Bangkok is a bit sad. Maybe it's because the huge stadium is more expensive. But it's not a good look and probably will turn off a lot of people because it looks a bit too greedy...like YG is really pushing to see how much he can get fans to pay.

Anyone paying attention knows that in terms of global platforms, global charts, youtube, etc., Lisa's "Money" was really on the money and succeeded far beyond anything else you're comparing it to. Trying to claim that it was just due to tiktok is ignorant. For one thing, making a song that will hit big on tiktok is also an achievement. It's not something to sneer at. But she also got the most #1s on itunes globally. Hit biggest on the most important Billboard charts, charted longest and even beat out Drake for the top spot on the BB hip-hop chart. Got the most YT views and likes (already more than 1.3 billion views for just Money and Lalisa). Meanwhile in Korea, YG did literally NOTHING to promote "money" and barely anything to promote "Lalisa". She didn't even get to go on any Korean TV shows (even though her clips from previous group appearances on Knowing Bros are literally the highest viewed clips in that show's history). I'm trying to find some logic in what you're saying, but there isn't any logic to find.

BUT with many of the younger groups they have a younger fanbase and criticism or commentary of any kind isn’t actually welcome. Similarly if a group is super popular and I’m not keen on what I see/hear it becomes a really big deal and then derails into cyber bullying toward me because I didn’t like a movement, vocal or outfit.
