Jennie’s SOLO is just too iconic ❤🔥 To have such a successful solo debut with no support from blinks and soo much hate… also released when they were just rookies and didn’t have a strong fan base.. the fact that the song set soo many trends and became a successful solo debut is the mark of a truly amazing artist that Jennie is.

Blinks supported this. Ofc there was hate from solo stans. This was released in November 2018 which was 2 years and 3 months into their careers, not when they were rookies. This was released 5 months after the song that really blew them up, Ddu du gave them a "strong fan base". This is taking nothing away from Jennie but just putting some truth out there.

You're picking one category to single out Blinks to fit your narrative and that's really dumb. Not only that, that's the least voted category for every group and was worth only 5% of the total score so it's not exactly a priority for people. Also, I'm fairly sure it's not "15 votes". It's 15 points worth of votes. This is easy to tell because the max score is 500 and the max number of votes is not 500.

I became a fan of Black Pink because of her, she's really talented and there's something different about her.😍👑 I used to see girl groups but I wasn't a fan too much, but when I saw the debut of Black Pink and saw Jennie rap in boombayah and whistle I was shocked! How could this girl be so full of charisma and talent at the same time? Great reaction video. Lisa is my bias on-stage, Jisoo off-stage. I like rap so my preferences are Lalisa and Solo, but I really like Rose and Jisoo's solos. Fun fact, guess who has the best selling album by a solo female Kpop Idol of all time. Nope, not Lisa, not Jennie, and not Rose. It is Jisoo's album that included Flower, that also broke all sorts of Spotify view records. Guess whose video by a Kpop act (male or female, solo or group) has to this point the most views in 2023? Yep, Jisoo's Flower. Jisoo and her song just hit with Asian audiences. Having said that, guess which song is the only solo female kpop song to ever hit the UK Top 40, yep, Jisoo's Flower. So, Kyie, you are definitely not alone in liking Jisoo's Flower. And to top it off, guess which female Kpop Idol has lead the monthly reputation rankings in South Korea most of the year? Yep, Jisoo, not just ahead of her members, but all other Kpop female Idols. And guess who cares the least about being so popular, yep, Jisoo is very humble and is the most supportive and nurturing member of Blackpink. i think what i find so smart about rosé songs in that in some parts it sounds like a love song but the song is just her talking to her old self. i still think solo is my top song like it’s just too iconic and rosé comes second.
