New Jeans filmed the Attention video in Spain. If you watch more of their videos Hype Boy has different versions. When the videos were first released you had to watch an intro video and then after that you were able to watch the different videos. At the time it was the only way to see them as they were unlisted. Le Sserafim is an anagram for I'm Fearless. At the time their video debuted their ages ranged from 16 to 21. The part where they are on the floor is not in the actual choreo and I believe the girls you can clearly see moving their hips up and down in the video are the ones that are not minors. There were originally six members - Chaewon, Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha, Eunchae and Garam. Prior to their debut Garam became the subject of controversy (Not going to address it here. There are articles you can look up online). I was announced shortly afterwards that she was on hiatus which eventually turned into having her contract terminated.

YES, exactly 🙌🏼🫶🏻 I honestly loved everything. I think most late 80's- 90's babies, can REALLY appreciate the entirety of this song. The spirit of the 90's- early 20's hip hop, is all over this pre-release. But it's meshed in beautifully with new age, & Korean elements to it. The minute that West Coast beat hit, I was done for. The references to the great ones, like Biggie Dr.Dre, Aaliyah, Destiny's child, TLC, & Rihanna🤌🏼. The fashion was criticized for being "underwhelming". But if anybody goes back & sees a an Aaliyah, & Destiny's child MV. It's easy to see, why the stylists chose these "underwhelming" outfits. 👏🏻👏🏻The same applies to the beat drop, & honestly. It pissed me off, that the same people yapping, "Why do they always do these big EDM type beat drops". Are the same "professional" music critics. That were whining about the beat drop being "so underwhelming"😑🙄🤦🏻‍♀️. It's cool though🤷🏻‍♀️, those who know, KNOW😉. I thought it was really cool of them. To release the song, on HipHop's Anniversary. Kpop music has A LOT of hip hop influence in it. But I don't see anyone rendering respect, where respect is due. I think EVERYONE involved with the project. Starting from YG,Teddy, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, Jisoo. All the way to the makeup artists, & interns doing coffee runs😄, did an amazing job. It didn't "miss the mark", because it suited the era. That it was intended to render an homage to. Music is SUBJECTIVE, & not all of us are biased & immature children🤷🏻‍♀️. That latch on to the dumbest of things, to spread hate. There's a difference between having an honest personal opinion, & passing off an intentional or unintentional attack. As a " No hate though", personal comment. Everyone is entitled to their own thing🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been waiting for you to react to new jeans. I heard the song before seeing the video and I had the same reaction the nostalgia for me was what got me really interested in them. They have 3 other songs that are really good. Tjey have such great vocals despite being so young. I was so beyond happy for SNSD comeback the ablums is so good. they have some more R&B based songs that I have on repeat. It's been 5 years since there last ablum and I'm so happy for this comeback.

As always fun and entertaining reactions Bris. Love your perspective on rhythm and vocals. APOKI: I've been following her since her debut. She came along when Vtubers started advancing in their graphical fidelity. Her BTS vids are fun to watch. They designed different clothes for her. Her IG is fun to look at too. She'll take pictures of her travels and those are intermixed with live shots so that you begin to forget she's a Vstar. In particular what is really interesting is that we're seeing the further development of a new 21st century entertainment genre. SNSD (Girls Generation): It's awesome to see their comeback. I've been following them since the early 00's. If I remember they're the OG of OG for G1 girl groups and really pioneered the whole marketing of girl groups. When they debuted they exploded and rapidly became an international sensation. Great content as always. Thank you for what you do.
