One thing I really like about nwjns choreography is that their choreo looks like it was made for and by a group of teenagers, which is why they’re allowed to be loose and playful with it to give it that youthful vibe unlike other kpop groups

Haerin really is a good dancer

NWJNS is currently my favorite K-pop girl group, so I’m glad to see them get more attention.

I love the playfulness in all their choreos. They truly embody the saying "dance to express and not to impress". But the best thing about NewJeans as a whole is that they don't sound like a group that wants to pick a fight with everyone. They're literally just singing about life as teenagers. You mix that with a bit of nostalgic y2k r&b and fashion and everything is just *~chef's kiss~*

The first time I saw Haerin dance- especially in the OMG dance practice (her footwork had me gagged)- I knew that she’d be an amazing dancer. There was something about the way she moved, so effortless and light, but still very much precise. The more I watched Newjeans, the more I confirmed that. Now, Haerin AND Hanni, actually. They are both such good dancers. I think it has a lot to do with their background. Haerin was in a dance academy before (footage of her resurfaced and if you see that, you’d realize the hard work she put in to be as good as she is now). While Hanni was part of Aemina, a dance crew, before in Australia wherein they would do covers (they had a yt channel but it’s already been deleted). Their improvements in only 2.5 yrs is insane, and at that young of an age? Newjeans is a crazy talented group.

I love that they commit to the teenager concept with fun and playful choreos. They also incorporate a lot of eye contact and interaction moments among the members... like a group of girls dancing with each other!

yees exactly haerin control of her body and movement is top tier. She is one of my favorite dancer already in the kpop industry also because she control very well her movement and power she is also very stable during live performance, i guess this is why she has the hardest parts in newjeans songs. the sky is just the limit for her because she is only 17 !!

newjeans may be a rookie group but for me it is one of the most complete groups, the simple fact that they do not have an assigned position speaks volumes about the fact that the five of them can be both dancers, singers and visuals, they have participated in the writing of their songs and surely in a few years they will write songs by themselves, they came to stay

Something about the way Hanni dances gets me. She always just looks like she's having so much fun, and most people praise her for being main dancer material. In a group this talented, that's crazy

When I saw Haerin danced in their Hype Boy M2 video, I just knew that she had the best technical skill.

probably my favorite group right now in terms of choreography-- i love how they have a defined style that they can adapt to many different songs and still be recognizable, your brain just goes "oh! this is a newjeans choreo" even if you've never seen it before, which i think is really special!

I join the fandom a little later specifically during the Ditto era. The first New Jeans’s video i watched was Ditto dance practice and my eyes are glued on Haerin! She’s so so good i thought she’s the main dancer of the group.

honestly, as simple as the move at 2:12 looks, i can't help but notice how clean haerin's footwork actually is like i repeated it to look at how each member does it but haerin just has some next level smoothness to it that i can't explain. and don't even get me started on OMG it's honestly crazy how clean it is.

New Jeans is an amazing group and Haerin can pull of so many different vibes - the pretty, the cute, the innocent and even the seductive (see the photos with the eye winks). She seems like a chameleon or a veteran actress who can change emotions and feel at need. It is an amazing trait and thinking about it, she is going to rock as a model - they all will. Acting should be in the cards for them too.

New jeans choreos always have a air of playfulness and freedom that makes it feel like they're a regular group of friends just having fun and dancing together. And I love choreos when the dancers make eye contact with each other instead of the audience. It adds to the togetherness of the group

i can always trust steezy to help me figure out the names of dance moves that show up in kpop! sometimes when i see a move that i know has a name i want to be able to look it up to see someone breaking down how to do that move, but i cant ever for the life of me figure out the name. please keep it up :)

From what I’ve read and watched, NewJeans choreography is based on fun and simplicity. They practice on being themselves in their choreo, but still being somewhat in sync. They wanted to show that they don’t want to look like every other group that are almost robotic in how in-sync they all are. So NewJeans wanted to be slightly different. Like I said before, they love to be playful and have fun while dancing but still be in sync in their own way. They have become my new favorite girl group because of their MV’s that tell such good stories! Music is so catchy, choreo is energetic, and they all are so beautiful and stunning!

the thing about their choreo. It comes of as a group of friends just dancing together. the hands in different places, the personality pop outs, but once those free moments are over it bam precision and cohesiveness. makes for these crazy contrasts that make those moments of attack pop hard
