The girl you kept pointing out about being a crazy rapper, insane flow/cadence is JENNIE and you are correct! She's the one with the huge CHANEL red hat and also the one that raps in all black with the match in the bathtub. She's a menace. Fire rapper and also really incredible vocalist with a sultry/seductive voice (she might actually be my favorite vocalist in the group, honestly). And the cherry on top: SHE'S DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, OH MY LORD! Her face is flawless.

I don't think any girl group can be "fully" compared to Blackpink to be honest. Sure, you can compare on signing talents and similar genres of music being employed in their music, but Blackpink brings singing, rapping, dancing and theatrical spectacles like no other.

Jennie is the one you mentioned have a really good flow and can rap rap. She is Blackpink main rapper (most skilled in the group) and she only really show her very swaggy deep rap on this new album compared to old ones. Lisa is the other rapper which is Blackpink Lead rapper (2nd most skilled in the group) and she has a lot of swag since the start

You all fighting your life to push Jennie as the main rapper. Yes she is. But Lisa got the swag and everything, all rounder. Maybe she’s the lead rapper but she’s also the main dancer, best rapper, and sub vocalist. Pffff you can take all your main rapper as you want but don’t disregard Lisa’s talent that carries the group for a long time now.

I'm a pro at Spice Girls and Blackpink 😎 If we compare characters from both groups.. here is my opinion.. Jennie is Posh&Scary/Baby, Lisa is Ginger&Baby, Rose is Posh&Baby, Jisoo is Sporty&Posh. But seriously, each of the members Spice Girls, Blackpink, TLC has their own character and I love them. And I love Lisa Left Eye and Lisa has a lot from her.

In reverse chronology: "How You Like That" was their last song prior to Pink Venom. Then, Kill This Love, Ddu Du Ddu Du, Playing With Fire, Whistle, Boombayah. Try that order.

If you watch their MVs from the very beginning and watch SHUT DOWN again after that you will realize/notice that SHUT DOWN is a homage to all their previous MVs. FYI Blackpink don't use blue/green screens.. everything you see in their MVs are built from ground up!

The Pink Venom song showed up in my Spotify list last week and my ears did a double take as this is not normal K-Pop. It is better. It is different. I've never even heard of this group before. I did a quick Google and these girls are from completely different backgrounds. A Korean girl, a Korean girl who grew up in New Zealand, a New Zealand girl who grew up in Australia, and a Thai girl. To top it all off the YG company also produced "Gangnam Style" 10 years ago. WTF!

I love it when people appreciate Jennie's rap bcos Lisa always gets the attention in rap(which she also highly deserve). I would say they are the TLC of KPOP and Girls Generation would be the Spice Girls. and I love the Spice Girls Sporty and Scary reference. They also have b-sides which are usually slow songs. If you don't mind, please also try to react to EXO Monster, Love Shot, or Tempo. they are called the vocal kings of kpop bcos of their insane vocals.

The best background for Blackpink is this video on their youtube -- THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO BLACKPINK 2022 -Jisoo is an under estimated rapper and actress - all of these scenes are from their past videos and some of the shots are shot similar - the garage they are in is the past (old videos) and they are shutting the door on them and moving up to the next level of videos and music
