Thank you for your reaction! Maybe I'm just biased but I'm in love with Hard to Love... ROSÉ's always been my favourite vocal in girl groups, she is amazing and lyrics in the song are incredible! But all girls are incredible! Lisa's flow and fast rap, Jennie's insane swag and charisma, Jisoo's beautiful voice and rap skills... There are no words to describe these four talanted girls! Fun fact: there is a little reference to the WINNER in "Typa Girl"! "If I let you in my circle, you a WINNER" - as you probably already know WINNER's fans name is Inner Circle Both WINNER and BLACKPINK are my ult groups so I'm just so happy about these little things!

Hard to love is currently my favorite song along with Tally on the album. I understand why some people don’t like the album, as it’s a different sound (more western and pop rock oriented) than their original sound. But I personally love all the tracks.

Yeah yeah yeah was written by JISOO and ROSE and i do think like they wanted to do this style they can do any type of style and finally YG is letting them. Loved this album better than The Album seriously I love Born Pink it's different they showed different sides. Loved that they put an 80's vibe type of a song like yeah yeah yeah ! They got good reviews by critics like Rolling stone who gave them 80/100 which is pretty good compared to their first album.

You only need very shallow knowledge about singing to notice that Rosé’s breathing, emphasis, lyrics flow and vocals skills are all on another level. It’s actually not surprising why she solo hard to love in this album, considering Yge usually cares about the quality of music the most.

I just love their entire album. Another panel of reactors in another channel, point out that member singing a solo makes sense because it flows with the story they wanna convey with their album. I didn’t think of it, but after their explanation it made total sense. RJ, I hope you got your tickets for their concert. 😊

I think Yeah Yeah Yeah has an '80's vibe. I also think that's why it faded out instead of just ending. Most songs in the '80s would fade out. It was also co-written by Jisoo and Rose.

Typa Girl has the same vibe with Pretty Savage. Like a playful villain Ost. 😂

At first yeah yeah yeah was just okay for me too then it became my favorite after shut down. It really grows on you. I think longer songs makes you fall deeper onto them so emotional ones are longer (like The Happiest Girl). More "superficial" songs are shorter cuz there's no need for depth since you're not supposed to really reflect about them, just have fun. It's more about the beat, rythm, melody etc

the fun part is this album is actually a few seconds longer than the album, by the way at first listen i felt the same about the lenght of the songs but after a bit it grew on me? or i just got used to it? anyway i stopped feeling the lenght and actually got to enjoy them a lot, even YYY, that i really wasn't feeling in the beginning. also another channel did an amazing analysis about the potential story arc of this album in which rose's solo actully makes a lot of sense (millenial men in case you want to check it out). in addition, the producer of the song spoke about the process and the song was always meant to be a solo for her and all the girls helped in polishing it so i guess maybe they really wanted to have it in the tracklist for plot reasons?

Disagree with you about Typa Girl. The kind of song it is makes it the way it is and longer would have gotten repetitive. A bridge would've changed the mood. LOVE IT the way it is. I think people should enjoy the music and appreciate it and get into it, instead of comparing it to their personal demands and assumptions about how long or how a song "should" go---as if that's a thing.

Typa Girl is one of my favorite songs off the album. The chorus is like a slowed down version of Wanksta by 50 Cent. lol.

This also only in my opinion...since Yeah3x is a song that have like an 80's vibe and they also did the "fade out" style. I wish they also lengthen the song. Since those era have a longer minutes of the song... like 3:40-4:20 minutes. I would also include the HTL song as well. They should've made it longer.

I definitely feel you on song length. We waited so long for a comeback, and while I do like the songs they gave us don't get me wrong, they gave us a MINI album with sub 3-min songs (and one of the songs was a Rose solo rather than a full group track). I feel like more could have been done - extra verses or even instrumental breaks to just vibe on that could have extended some of the songs. Overall I'm happy to have new BP songs but I wish we got a bit more.

I didn't realize that the songs are this short. That explains why I always have the feeling that something's missing while listening to them. Overall I like the album, but it's not going to be the album of the year for me.

These three and Shut Down are in my top off the album. Typa Girl is Pretty Savage pt.2 and I love them both. Yeah x3 makes me feel like I'm in a happy road trip montage or something. And Hard to Love... I feel like I don't even have to explain that one, but it's objectively a sad song, but like I want to jump around to it? And Rose we all knew was the definition of a musician/vocalist.💖

Would it have killed them to flesh out these songs with another verse or two? Eight songs & only 24 minutes of music, after a two year wait, is classic YG BS. The Beatles first album had a running time of 31:59. That was over 50 years ago! I'd love to see the girls' let their contracts with YG expire and sign together with BigHit Music and join BTS. How fun would that be?

Personally I am not really a BP fan. They are talented but most of their music isn’t for me. I have listened quite a few of their songs of their album on Spotify. A couple songs almost made it on my playlist but not quite. Personally I think that this latest album has some of their best songs… for me…(these are on my playlist;that are numbered) 1. Shut It Down (definitely one of their best songs ever, in my opinion) 2. Happiest Girl 3. Hard to Love (f word-I don't love this word in any song but I sometimes I can be okayish with it.) 4. Ready to Love 5. Tally (f word) Typa Girl (f word) (Personally I like the sound of this song but, in my opinion, it is too repetitive and I honestly not the biggest fan of some for the feminist things in the song...Just my opinion though). The only thing with BP that I have a problem with is that the songs, most of the time, doesn't flow every well from start to finish, in my opinion. They have amazing parts in the song but sometimes when the singing or rapping comes in it doesn't flow or go together very well, in my opinion, or they have weird dance break sounds. Sometimes their lyrics are a little too sexual for me too. However, they are very talented
