Cold blooded is a collab with a girl's dance groups for a TV show. The little girl is a fan from jessi, she talk about it on a live yesterday, she says that the girl cried when she met her. It was a sweet story

Jessi was suppose to be a trainee with SM but she wanted to sing & rap which didn’t fit into the concept; she stayed friends with a lot of SM artists and LSM who helped her stay in the industry. She became infamous on the variety show called Unpretty Rapstar where her NY side came out and put her on everyone’s radar. Her fandom is called the Jebbies and she loyal af to us. Jessi is as self-made as you can get in Kpop.

The woman dancing with Jessi in "Nunu Nana" is Lee Hyori. soloist and ex member of FinK.L, a 1st gen girl group. She's basically the OG Kpop diva!! another queen! Like she was 40 in that video and still looked that good and had that much swag! I truly love Hyori and Jessi so much

The song Cold Blooded was suppose to be performed by the winning team in SFW. Jessi thought they all deserved to have a shot (She doesn’t like elimination shows because of her Unpretty Rapstar experience)and ask the teams to choreograph the song in sections with the winning team having the largest section. She showed up in the end to bring it all together.

Cold Blooded was a special collaboration with the dance show Street Woman Fighter S1. The choreo was made by YGX (mainly Leejung). Leejung is a choreographer to Blackpink's Pink Venom, Taeyong's Shalala, Treasure's B.O.M.B, Lisa's Money, ITZY's Wannabe and Mafia In The Morning and many more:) Thank you for your reaction! Yess Jessi is a QUEEN (in capital letters), she dont give a shit about anything, she is super in your face just as you said, her verses are genius and she is an amazing artist. People tend to say she is super intimidating but irl she is a cutie and super sweet.

Fun Fact Cold Blooded Ho is a play on her own last name (aka Jessica HO) . Jessi lyrics may be simple for a lot of her songs but she there tends to be a lot of cute metaphors / puns and references that you don't see with a lot of artists out there 🙃 Also Jessi not entering till the end was very intentional as she really wanted to make sure that the choreographers and dancers get their moment in the spotlight. This was supposed to be a tribute to them ☺

SWF stands for Street Woman Fighter, which was the dance competition show for female dance crews/choreographers that really blew up in Korea. So, all of the dancers in Jessi's "Cold Blood" are super famous all over the world now. SWF has now made some of Korea's top choreographers so famous that they almost have idol status and EVERYONE knows them and wants to work with them ever since they saw them competing on that show. All the dancers in "Cold Blood" are household names these days and they are even regular guests, cast members and hosts of variety show programs. They have made it so choreographers are no longer just people in the background that the public never sees or knows who they are, now the dancers are just as famous as the artists they work with. Jessi is Korean-American from New York/New Jersey. Her style is very western influenced, but she will always come back to her Korean roots and she also has many K-hip-hop and K-pop songs, as well. Jessi really started to become recognized and become famous when she participated in the Korean female rap competition show called Unpretty Rapstar in 2015, which was the female version of the Korean rap competition show Show Me the Money. She has had a hard time over the years really finding her place in the Korean music industry, so a lot of her songs are a big flex, as she tries to prove to people that she knows what she is doing and that she doesn't necessarily need their approval. She will always be true to herself. With her brash New York style and very western flavor when it comes to most of her songs, it has been hard for her to get a lot of people to take her seriously as a Kpop artist. She has been in the industry for more than 18 years now and it's only been within the past few years that she has really started to find her stride. Jessi is currently 34 years old. She started out as a member of a short-lived K-hip-hop group in 2005 and then became a solo artist in 2009, so she is a second gen. artist that has really put in a lot of work to get to where she is today. In 2014 she became a member of the Kpop trio Lucky J from 2014-16, while also continuing her solo career. She spent most of her career under YMC Entertainment, but in 2019 she signed with P Nation, which is owned by Psy -- the creator/singer of the mega hit Kpop song, "Gangnam Style", among others. She left P Nation last year and has now signed with More Vision, which is Jay Park's new label/company.

I second "What Type of X", "Who Dat B?", and her Killing Voice. But I emphatically also suggest "Numb". It's beautiful and moving.

Street Woman Fighter is a Mnet dance competition show of all of the famous but not recognized that much street dancers. Jessi appeared as one of the missions for the show, all of the remaining crew made a routine/choreo for this song, and Jessi picked YGX's, thus they're in the beginning and first chorus of the song. I can say that this is like a series now, because this show got so famous globally. They even had spin-offs for it like Street Dance Girls Fighter (these are young street dancers prolly in teens) and then Street Men Fighter. This year, Street Woman Fighter 2 is still on going. You might wanna check it out ^^ it's actually fun if you ignore the evil editing of the show Also !! I wanna add: in Zoom, La Chica choreographed this song and they were part of the season 1 of SWF ^___^

SWF is a survival show where the best female dance crews in Korea compete against each other, even Chaeyeon from IZONE was on the first season with the crew she was a part of. All the dancers are famous in the kpop industry as great backup dancers or in the dance battle community. The show was so popular that they had do make a second season (the show gets really spicy). I definitely would reccomend it to you. Additiona informations about Jessi: -She is a really good singer -Her personality is in some ways different from her music and she is a really lovable person

Yes! We love jessi! she is so fun and so real. The lady in Nunu Nana is a first or second generation kpop idol. Lee hyori she was originally in a group called Fin.K.L and then had a solo career before she got married and settled down. I adore lee hyori she is known for her sassy and honest personality it would my cool to check out some of her music as well. "10 minutes, U go girl, and bad girl" are some of her popular songs. For Queen Jessi, I love Gucci, what type of x, really it is hard to go wrong. Gum feels so different for her but still suits her so well. I love it. RJ was so funny contemplating what gum could be. The other people in cold blooded where the different dance crews from the show street woman fighter! It’s a dance competition show where crews compete to win. One of the missions was the dancers had to create choreo for Jessi’s new song (cold blooded) the winners of that challenge was the crew YGX (the five girls in the very beginning)!

SWF is like a survival show but for street dance crews. Cold Blooded was one of the challenges for the crews left of S1 to create choreos to. If you've seen the recent Chilli by Hwasa challenge, it's the same challenge but for season 2. I highly recommend watching it even if you aren't into dancing that much. It's so entertaining and all of the crews are so good!
