This is how I forge a simple ornamental stylized Christmas gnome.

Torbjörn Åhman the reson you dont have many subscribers are only two 1: people at this time are more intressted in gaming and not smithing 2:people that do like this kind of content they probably find a bigger youtuber with a bigger sub count because they think hes more reliable. btw i love your content keep it up

We call them Tomte or nisse in Sweden. Tomt is a plot(a piece of land).

Very nice perceptive art TA.... as always the results are beautiful. they work well with the rebar tea light holders. Gnomes warming themselves by the fire!

I was wondering if you were going to make each one a little different instead of exactly the same, and you did! They're all fundamentally the same, but each haws its own unique character, it'd be easy to image what each gnome would be like if they were real.

Cool. Thanks. Quite easy to do without a power hammer. Make a spring fuller for your anvil.

Thanks! I don't know, we will see... I like forging and making knives involves 10% forging only... the rest is grinding which is quite boring. Some other edge tools might pop up after all... stay tuned :)

Wow good job! Im 11 and I just got into blacksmithing... how long does it take for your forge to heat that metal up to a glowing orange?

Cool! This is 20mm stock, so it probably takes 2 min from dead cold.

@@torbjornahman Ok thanks! I made a forge from and old bread pan, sand and plaster, and an iron pipe that I cut holes in so the air could come through... also im wondering if lump charcoal works for a forge because my charcoal just burns to quickly... 😐👍😀

Charcoal works fine, but it burns quite fast... check your air flow, you don't need very much air. I have seen many beginners with volcano like forges with way too much air supplied - which also makes your fuel go up faster.

What type of paint are you using? It looks like enamel paint but I can't quite tell! They look awesome by the way, you inspired me to make some similar christmas elves

Thanks! It's some kind of cheap ripoff of hammerite paint, but works pretty ok! It has even a slight metallic look to it with small flakes in it.
