Nice seeing some finishing and detail work with crisping up the edges and filing down the rivet heads. I could watch this all evening, and just might.

This is a work of art. Exceptional high skill set and an incredible talent being shown here in the making of these tongs. Thank you very much for sharing. I'm setting up my forge and have this to look forward too. Quite inspirational in fact, another reason why I've taken up smith work. It's so important to keep traditions alive. All of your videos leave me speechless. Your proficiency as a blacksmith is beyond exceptional, and dare say your skills with cinematography and editing are equally impressive. That was the most beautiful and masterfully crafted piece of metal i have seen on you tube. I know it was just a pair of tongs, but every hammer blow had a reason and was carefully planned out. Each heat was for a specific temperature and no higher. Well done.

+Matthew Marting On this piece there were allot of filing done... and if you are careful drawing down on the power hammer you can get really smooth results.

Уважаемые господа,граждане,товарищи,как угодно,кузнецы!суть не в том,что получилось.Вы посмотрите на работу мастера,как он работает с металлом.На наковальней при рубке-подкладка,обжимку закрепляет снизу клином,работает то ручником,то на молоте,то греет на горне,то применяет горелку...а как открывает козырёк над трубой дымохода,вы заметили?Я посмотрел не одну сотню по ковке,а такое вижу впервые.Десять классов за мастерство!

He will start with well son,there was there was this man who built things out of steel.......
