Hej Torbjörn! Jag sliter med posttraumatisk stress, så det är mycket ångest, stress, flashbacks och panikångest i min vardag. Men sedan jag fann din kanal och dina videor så har jag hittat något som hjälper mig att roa ned mig när jag får "flashbacks" och tror att jag är tillbaka i de situationer som mitt trauma kommer ifrån. Dina videor lugnar mig och får mig tillbaka till verkligheten. Jag har slitit med att finna något som hjälper mig med att just få mig tillbaka till verkligheten och att roa panikångest attacker, och dina videor har blivit min räddning. *Jag kan inte tacka dig nog.* Jag älskar ditt hantverk, det är 100% min smak - det har lite utav den där Småländska allmoge smide-känslan som jag växte upp runt omkring. My father was a blacksmith and a welder. I watched him make and repair many, many things during my lifetime. I never saw him make a thing like this. I really wish he was alive to see this video. I think he would have tried to make one the next day. Because of my father I know a bit more about blacksmithing than most, and this device is a tool and a work of art too. I don't need kindling, but I still want one one of these devices.

Wonderful work, AND great cinematography. My granddad was a blacksmith from 1910 to 1957. But I never got to see him work. Vids like this help me to connect to him.

I have to think if i lived in all that snow i would have become a ɓlack smith instead of a carpenter. Also that was one beautiful anvil. Never seen one that big before

Learned about what a kindling splitter is .. and about pine tar as a finish! Thanks so much for this video. Good therapy too, my forge is down for a couple weeks while I build a shop for winter!

This is a very safe way of splitting kindling, and the design of this one is excellent, but, it does require a lot of equipment to make! Many thanks for posting this. Chris B.

This video doesn't just show what the set too was for, but answers a really old question I have had. I saw one of these in an antique shop and had no idea what it was. The shop owner couldn't figure it out either. Now I know what it is, and I think I might add something like this to my offerings when I actually start Smithing in about a month.

Your videos are mesmerizing and expertly produced. And your craftsmanship speaks for itself. The other blacksmiths I watch on KZfaq have either slowed down production or stopped entirely so I appreciate the fact that you’re still producing these great videos.

Even better than using a fro to make kindling. A hatchet is both the most common and most dangerous way. You're a smart man who keeps all his fingers. Well done.

Stunning craftsmanship. Never seen one of those before, but now that I have I can’t help but wonder how that’s the case. Form meets function in a way that makes it so safe that even a child could use it. Amazing!
