As a UPS driver I've seen tons of Candle Science boxes. When i see a lot of the same package i ask questions. Here I am making my own candles now and watching these videos.

@Lifeoface12 oh, it's working. I'm putting together labels for Avery using Canva with the help of my wife. She's more artsy. I actually enjoy making candles except the wicking process haha.

Thank you, Wade. I watched your videos and learned so much from you. I officially launched my website end of December 2022. Very slow month Jan & Feb BUT it all came together, and I've officially sold almost 2k wax melts to date. I never imagined I'd grow so fast but you never know how high you can fly if you don't spread your wings. God Bless❤

Hello. Can you recommend a display sign on amazon etc. we could buy? My 15 yo just had a coffee shop in Macau say she could sell her candles in the store. We need some type of display sign. I am going to launch my business in March and I am currently working on my website that I purchased through Etsy for a luxury website it’s coming together really nice, I do have questions about shipping with Shopify and even Etsy that’s the one thing I am still trying to get down because I want to know the most affordable way of shipping because I have all of my legal things down, candle inventory, just the shipping. Yes please, do a video regarding the pros and cons of Etsy and Shopify. I tried dropshipping with Shopify with a $1 trial, but there were a few hidden fees and I was losing instead of earning. I'm trying to reopen my domain, but with my candles which has been a high request.

great video! ive seen 6-8 scents is a good starting point. would you recomend having different size options as well to start or just an 8 oz for example?

I'd start with one to launch but then move into one size different when you can. Unless it's a descent size candle already. Otherwise if it's a small tin, work on a larger candle. And visa versa

I launched my website and marketed for two months before the launch. I have received about ten orders in one week. I wondered how long it took you to start seeing website traffic and then sales? Hello! Question I’m making wax melts with IGI 6006 and 10% FO and people are telling me that after about 3 hours there is no more scent. What is the scent life of a wax melt when burning?

6006 is super soft for a melt. Try adding a wax meant for wax melts. Mix in some 4625 for example. Or you can use a wax specifically for wax melts like pillar of bliss, provlend 650, or c55

So a softer wax will melt faster but also release your FO too fast?

@@CrystalJacobson-kj1ye yes and no. Softer waxes have a lower melt point (to be wicked easier for container candles). Wax melters have hot bulbs meant for higher melt point waxes. So its likely burning it off too hot and too fast. It could be something else causing it, but Id at least start by trying a different wax for wax melts personally.

I am having such a hard time getting a hot throw when I add even one drop of color into candle . I went up a wick size and up to 9 oz f/o . Using 6006 wax. Can u suggest anything please lol!!

Adding the color shouldn't make a difference so adding some wont help. Try some other oils first. 6006 is normally good with hot throw. You may wanna try larger jar too

What does it mean when a company sponsor your video?

Just means they they have contributed something towards the video (product, funds etc). Basically like when a small business sponsors a youth team or something... but just for one video. It helps with some exposure for them but also helps us creaters making free videos. I only use a few consistently. Onces thst I use myself. :)
