You understand leverage. I've been so amazed when you on these fish. You are similar in frame as I but you use the fulcrum beautifully. Ide be in the water. You are awesome. Love the content

Good technique and understanding how the gear is supposed to be used makes all the difference in the world! The key mistake so many strongmen make is they treat the fishing reel like a winch to lift the fish when you want to use the rod to lever the fish up and just use the reel to recover fishing line when it is slack.

It's been a great fishing season here aswell. Got my first eating size sea trout AND it was my first catch on flyrod 53 cm. Also I got a new pr on pike 6 kg. I know it's nothing compared to you guys but when you live in Denmark it is a monster. Happy new year.
