@@absoluteego100% not click bait, that fish could be 250lbs-300lbs easy! I mean two people attempted and struggled hard with it still being somewhat in the water.

Modern rod to a pretty good job. But it's really the reel with controllable drag that makes catching really big ones possible. With big fish, you can't stop them from moving if they really want to, but you can wear them down. The rod it mostly there to absorb quick tugs and give some direction control. People do catch huge ones on handlines, but it takes more skill.

The Bible says that no one is a good person. We have all broken God's law the 10 commandments, we have all committed, lies, adultery, idolatry, and blasphemy. We deserve hell, but because of what Jesus did on the cross we can be forgiven. So if you Repent of your sins, change your wicked ways, and put your faith in Christ you will be written in the book of life. 👌 🙏Repentance is reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs, which is accompanied by commitment to and actual actions that show and prove a change for the better........

Whoever is reading this, I wanted to say I hope you have a great day and that God loves you so much that he sent his son, Jesus, to die on a cross for your sins and he rose again from the dead three days later. God Bless! ✝️🙏🏼⛪️ And also, He doesn’t want you to go to Hell but he wants you to go to Heaven with him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved! 1. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins. Thank 2. Believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that he rose again from the dead 3 days later. 3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for him to be your Lord and Savior forever. 4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus and Live for Him Forever. I’m Praying for you and you are loved!

Man, that was a fish older than I am. It could have knocked you oud there in the shallow water. These fish really make you respect the amazone forrest, don't they. Awsum catch. Wish I could have landed one of them on my trips to Suriname, but all i got was a bunch of flasheads and a 'tiny' wolffish. Super !

@@cag1763 Jeremy wade is one of the most extreme anglers of our time lmao, when he caught the goonch he spent 4 straight weeks sun up to sun down fishing with absolutely no luck until the last day and the mans swap across a raging river with the fish on his pole…. There’s a fucking reason Jeremy has run out of monsters to show us he’s caught them all lol, that just shows straight ignorance if you dont think Jeremy Wade is one of the greatest anglers of all time.

Very impressive catch, not to mention the strength of those fish. If it hadn't been worn down it would be more lively, I've heard of someone that got his ribs broken by it's tail slap to the ribcage. Definitely not a fish you want to underestimate.

That fish is likely no more than 15 years old. they dont grow past 20. very different from the sturgeon and alligator gar. They grow quickly.

It’s strange I don’t know why I feel sorry for the fish when I see vids like this ??? Even though I enjoy fishing and do it whenever I can, I do it for purely eating. Fishing only small fish for food seems ok and stressing out big beautiful fish in far away majestic environments purely for sport or yt hits seems strange to me . Why is this ? And does anyone know what I mean ?
@NebelKothbauer
@NebelKothbauer 13 күн бұрын
I mean i understand where your coming from not many people think about it some people just try and catch the biggest fish that they can for the thrill which i get its fun to test your strength on something thats 4 times your size but it also stresses the fish out after long fights and at a certain point it just seems kind of sad i only fish for food and im selective of the size and dont sport fish

I fish for seatrout almost every single day, and i see your point, and i respect it! However i think that you can justify “sportfishing” as long as you make sure to treat the fish as good as possible and make sure to use the right size hooks and don’t fight them too hard when not necessary😅
